Grab Tight To Your Guns: Hillary Won’t Even Admit 2nd Amendment Right

Screen Shot 2016-06-05 at 9.07.47 PMIn a more type interview, Hillary Clinton was actually grilled by one of her former fan boys and member of her husband’s administration as to whether citizens have a right to bear arms. She used her best non-committal, hard to figure out language to ensure no one could hold her to any specific position.

According to The Daily Caller:

In an interview on ABC’s “This Week” with George Stephanopoulos on Sunday, Hillary Clinton refused to say whether or not the right to bear arms is a constitutional right.

Stephanopoulos asked, “Let’s talk about the Second Amendment. As you know, Donald Trump has also been out on the stump, talking about the Second Amendment, saying you want to abolish the Second Amendment. I know you reject that, but I want to ask you a specific question: Do you believe that an individual’s right to bear arms is a constitutional right — that it’s not linked to service in a militia?”

Clinton replied, “I think that for most of our history there was a nuanced reading of the Second Amendment until the decision by the late Justice Scalia, and there was no argument until then that localities and states and the federal government had a right, as we do with every amendment, to impose reasonable regulations. So I believe we can have common sense gun safety measures, consistent with the Second Amendment. And in fact, what I have proposed is supported by 90 percent of the American people and more than 75 percent of responsible gun owners.”

“So that is exactly what I think is constitutionally permittable and again, you have Donald Trump just making outright fabrications, accusing me of something that is absolutely untrue. But I’m going to continue to speak out for comprehensive background checks, closing the gun show loophole, closing the online loophole, closing the so-called

Charleston loophole, reversing the bill that Senator Sanders voted for and I voted against giving immunity from liability to gun makers and sellers. I think all of that can and should be done and it is, in my view, consistent with the Constitution.”

Let’s face it, Mrs. Clinton wants your guns, and her buddies won’t rest until they have them. It’s interesting that one of her former associates grilled her during the interview. No doubt she thought she was showing up for an interview with softball questions.

Instead, she had to tap dance with legal language to try and hide the poorly kept secret that she wants to take guns from everyone except her own security team.

Did this ninny even GO to college? Oh yeah. I remember; she majored in husband-hunting, obviously failed that too!

She also failed the Ethics class.

Bush and Cheny never attended an ethics class either. Yet they ran up a $6 trillion in debt. Bill Clinton balanced the budget.

        • nicholsda

Bill Clinton balanced nothing. Congress came close to balancing a budget but even it was off by a couple hundred million. And the debt went up under Bill. http://news.bbcimg.co.uk/media/images/54225000/gif/_54225175_us_debt_464.gif

Your blind. How does the congress almost balance the budget and Clinton increased the debt? Congress spends the money.
The budget surplus was $400million the first year. Would have been more if republican trash didn’t steal the 2000 election. Conservatives are criminals like ISIS..

It is called smoke and mirrors. Something the Dems are good at. If you borrow money, they count it as revenue which still does increase the debt.

Again, look at the chart. Notice the debt went up every year under Clinton the impeached. It almost balanced in 2000 but didn’t. Just because you set a debt ceiling and then don’t go that high does not make it a surplus.
