Former Boxing Legend Jumps In Trumps Corner

2016 Presidential Candidate Donald Trump’s poll numbers just keep climbing, and while he is a polarizing candidate, former boxing legend Mike Tyson threw his support recently in Trump’s corner. According to the Conservative Tribune:

One of the most fascinating things about Republican presidential hopeful Donald Trump’s campaign is the support he garners from the most unlikely people.

From Diamond and Silk to Puerto Rican singer Ruben Obed Martinez to dozens of black pastors across the nation, Trump continues to prove he has supporters from across the American landscape. It is a phenomenon that has befuddled liberals and mainstream media pundits.

Add to the mix former heavyweight world champion Mike Tyson, who recently told TMZ that despite his recent comments regarding Mulsims in the United State, Trump “deserves a chance.”

Offending people is par for the course, Tyson explained.

“Hey listen, anybody that was ever president of the United States offended some group of people,” Tyson said.

“He’s still ahead in the polls,” Tyson pointed out before adding a piece of advice: “If you don’t like him, then don’t vote for him.”

Regardless of what you think of Trump, he is causing people to have an opinion about himself, and about issues that most politicians gingerly step around. Not Trump, he is willing to speak about any issue, candidly, without regard to political correctness or hurt feelings. And there is no doubt Mike Tyson can appreciate that kind of personality.
