Here’s Why The “Women On Washington” March Is Not Supportive of Women

In response to the results of the election yielding Trump as President-elect, millions of pro- choice and abortion supporters, feminists, and left-wing advocates made the decision to host a massive protest, known as the “Women’s March on Washington”.

While hundreds of thousands of women have signed up to march the day after President Trump has his inauguration, there are hundreds of thousands of other women who are furious over the representation these liberal protestors are trying to inflict on Washington.

Between the publicly-announced intentions of getting arrested during the protests, to the “Pussyhats” campaign directly affiliated with the march, the March on Washington is an embarrassment to women more than anything.

The “Women’s March on Washington” is nothing more than a liberal cry for their abortion services to be protected, and many women across America certainly do not stand with this pro-choice agenda.

The Week reports:

Everything else about the Women’s March, however, is reaching a level of absurdity worthy of the man they are protesting. Start with the fact that they are billing this event as the voice of women when 42 percent of women (and 62 percent of non-college educated white women) actually voted for Trump.

The radically feminist and abortion service organization, Planned Parenthood, are the key organizers of the event, which is meant to be a “peaceful fight for women’s rights”.

While the march was supposed to be a feminist movement to “protect women’s rights”, the massive march is now nothing more than an abortion campaign.

In a statement made by the March on Washington website, the claim was made that the event is focused solely around reproductive rights rather than the women’s rights agenda as a whole.

Breitbart News reports:

We will send a strong message to the incoming administration that millions of people across this country are prepared to fight attacks on reproductive health care, abortion services, and access to Planned Parenthood, as they intersect with the rights of young people, people of color, immigrants, and people of all faiths, backgrounds, and incomes.

After that bold statement was made, a statement even more shocking was made by the lead protestor, Gloria Steinem, herself.

The feminist warrior threatened to stop paying her taxes if her so-called “reproductive rights” were taken away.

Breitbart News reports:

Steinem also recently said she would refuse to pay the full amount of her federal income tax if Planned Parenthood’s taxpayer funds were eliminated.

Furthermore, the March on Washington protest is allegedly running a side campaign focused on promoting women to wear “Pussyhats”.

The idea of the “Pussyhat” is that by wearing a pink hat with cat ears attached, women are subjectively representing their sexuality at the March.

Regardless of the incredibly demeaning nature of the hat, the group also objectifies that there will be a “sea of pink” at the march – therefore subjecting themselves to represent the very gender roles the group is supposedly trying to fight.

Breitbart News reports:

If everyone at the march wears a pink hat, the crowd will be a sea of pink, showing that we stand together, united,” a mission statement at the Pussyhat Project website explains. “Pink is considered a very female color representing caring, compassion, and love — all qualities that have been derided as weak but are actually STRONG.”

Regardless of the excuses made by either group, the March on Washington is simply another liberal protest made by feminists who are afraid that Trump and the Republican-majority Senate will take away their abortion services.

The fact that the march is being funded solely by Planned Parenthood and Gloria Steinem is a huge red flag to the real intentions of the group.

Most importantly, the supporters of the Women’s March on Washington are missing the overall picture: just because a leader is pro-life, does not mean said leader is anti-women.

The Week reports:

Trump has made a concerted attempt to extend an olive branch to the feminist lobby. He has embraced gender wage parity, government-mandated maternity leave, and child tax deductions in defiance of his own party. One can debate…..but not that they are intended to help women. And then there are his three female Cabinet appointments, and a fourth woman as U.N. envoy.

What are your thoughts?

Do you believe the Women’s March on Washington is meant to represent the rights of all women?

Or is it simply another feminist abortion campaign?

So, who’s making all The money on the hats? Who else is profiting from this boondoggle? Watch out for the violence and property damage that happens at every liberal protest.
