Hillary Clinton continues to endure a death by a thousand cuts with her email scandal.
Each day brings another devastating headline further derailing any chance for her Presidential campaign to rebuild momentum.
And the latest news reveals just how illegal her behavior has been.
Bryan Pagliano was the staffer who set up her private email server.
The Washington Post reports Pagliano will again take the Fifth rather than self-incriminate in an upcoming deposition:
“The ex-staffer who set up former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s home email server intends to refuse to testify, again, in an upcoming deposition.
Lawyers for Bryan Pagliano said in a court motion filed Wednesday that he will invoke his Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination at a deposition scheduled for next week.
A federal judge last month granted a request from the conservative legal advocacy group Judicial Watch to question six current and former State Department aides about the 2009 creation of the private email system used by Clinton, the front-runner for the Democratic presidential nomination.
Pagliano previously refused to testify before Congress. He has been granted immunity by federal prosecutors in a separate FBI probe into whether classified information that flowed through Clinton’s server was mishandled. Clinton is expected to be interviewed soon as part of that investigation.”
It’s no wonder Pagliano is refusing to self-incriminate.
A State Department Inspector General’s report found Hillary lied when she claimed her server was approved by the State Department and in accordance with agency rules.
Pagliano could be forced to answer embarrassing questions about being told by Hillary or her team that everything was on the up-and-up.
He previously exercised his Fifth Amendment rights when he clammed up in front of the Benghazi Select Committee.
After that, he was granted immunity from the FBI in exchange for his testimony.
The FBI granting immunity to Pagliano led many observers to believe the Bureau was building their case to bring charges against Hillary.
Granting immunity to lower-level associates in order to coax testimony against their boss is a time tested technique in criminal investigations.
And while taking the Fifth is a constitutionally protected right, it leads many to wonder what exactly Pagliano is hiding and what he told the FBI in exchange for immunity from prosecution.
Will this testimony sink Hillary’s campaign?
