More emails have been released by WikiLeaks this week, again demonstrating Hillary Clinton’s lies and deceit, and the greater probability that classified information was leaked.
The latest group of emails came from the account of John Podesta, Chairman of Clinton’s campaign for President. They include excerpts from several speeches Hillary made, including to Wall Street businesses, and show plans meant to compromise the campaigns of Republican candidates to boost Hillary’s chances in the race.
One of the most disturbing emails show comments made by Clinton during a paid speech to a Toronto business group in 2013. During the speech, Clinton publicly — and carelessly– stated she was partially responsible for the capture of terrorist mastermind, Osama bin Laden.
Newsmax reports on an excerpt from the speech:
“I was in the small group that recommended to the president that he go after bin Laden,” Clinton said in a 2013 speech to a Toronto business organization.
She went on: “The amount of work that was required to get a strong-enough basis of information on which to plan took more than a decade . . . and then all of a sudden putting this matrix together and saying, ‘This guy used to protect bin Laden — he has just made a phone call. He said this in the phone call. We need to figure out where he is. Then we need to follow him.’
“And that is how we found this compound in Abbottabad [Pakistan]” — where a team of Navy SEALs took out bin Laden in May 2011.
Clinton has continued to deny ever sending anything classified on her private email server, however, the excerpt from the leaked emails shows she not only sent it, she boasted publicly on matters of national security.
The emails also show conversations between Clinton and Podesta, as well as other advisors of the campaign, strategizing on how best to defeat conservatives — and the “necessity” of maintaining both a private and public persona on political issues.
In other words: Lie to the public about what you really stand for.
Clinton has come under fire in the past for not understanding the middle class, while claiming to come from humble beginnings herself. Yet, one leaked email discusses her inability to relate to the middle class due to the “fortunes” she and her husband currently enjoyed.
Clinton’s presidential campaign has sought to cast the former Secretary of State as a fighter for the middle class, someone who will stand up to monied interests and corporations, and advocate on behalf of people who have seen wages stagnate over eight years under President Barack Obama.
In one 2014 speech, Clinton admits to being “kind of far removed” from the struggles of the middle class.
“My father loved to complain about big business and big government, but we had a solid middle class upbringing,” she said in the remarks. “…And now, obviously, I’m kind of far removed because the life I’ve lived and the economic, you know, fortunes that my husband and I now enjoy…”
And this came after Clinton’s claim she and Bill were “broke” when they left the White House.
Prior to winning the Democrat nomination for President, then-opponent Bernie Sanders was already pushing Clinton to release the transcripts of these speeches.
Many of them were to Wall Street donors, in which she was very candid about the backdoor deals and schemes necessary to catapult her to the top and the money she would need to do it.
The leaked trove of emails from Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta’s account also features damning evidence of major flip-flops and doublespeak from the former Secretary of State.
“It is unsavory, and it always has been that way, but we usually end up where we need to be,” Clinton said. “But if everybody’s watching, you know, all of the backroom discussions and the deals, you know, then people get a little nervous, to say the least. So, you need both a public and a private position.”
Republican National Committee chairman Reince Priebus said in a statement, “It’s not hard to see why she fought so hard to keep her transcripts of speeches to Wall Street banks paying her millions of dollars secret.”
The leaked emails prove Hillary’s constant contradictions, corruption, backdoor deals with big business, and even her claimed credit for taking down Osama bin Laden.
Hillary Clinton says she’s in touch with women, the middle class, and every American, but the latest batch of leaked emails prove that, not only is she untrustworthy, she is dangerous to the security of our country.
