For 278 days, Hillary has been hiding from the American people.
Feeling the heat to hold a press conference, and unable to hide any longer, she finally emerged to answer a few questions.
However, as the press conference revealed, Hillary showed up off balance and defensive as she couldn’t handle the pressure of talking to the public.
Hillary answered an abysmal six questions, and dodged the ones she didn’t want to answer or respond to.
When asked about intelligence briefings, Hillary revealed her double-standard, saying she would “never” comment on intelligence briefings.
QUESTION: Last night, Mr. Trump suggested in some of his security briefings that briefers made a suggestion or an insinuation that they were not pleased — the CIA was not pleased with the decisions that the administration and President Obama have made so far.
Did you get that same impression in the briefings that you got? And can you comment otherwise on that suggestion from Mr. Trump?
CLINTON: I think what he said was totally inappropriate and undisciplined. I would never comment on any aspect of an intelligence briefing that I received.
After dodging questions she didn’t want to talk about, and in a final and desperate attempt to remain relevant, she attempted to take the focus off her failed policies and instead attacked Trump for her fading campaign.
When asked specifically about Trump, Clinton said:
“Well, you know, look, I mean the Republicans are just in a terrible dilemma trying to support a totally unqualified nominee. I have no sympathy for them. It’s their nominee. But I am not going to tolerate them continuing to make misleading, inaccurate accusations and putting out misinformation about me.”
Her press conference disaster was on display for all to see, and the Trump campaign wasted no time calling out her disgraceful appearance.
“Last night Hillary Clinton again failed the Commander-in-Chief test, where she was unable to answer for her terrible foreign policy judgment, mishandling of classified information and claims that the VA wait time scandal was overblown,” Trump’s senior communications adviser Jason Miller stated in a press release, responding to Clinton taking questions from reporters the morning after NBC’s Commander-in-Chief forum, where both presidential candidates took questions from Matt Lauer.
“Her claim that no lives were lost in Libya was an insult to the memory of the four brave Americans who died in Benghazi. So it’s no surprise she’s resorting to unhinged and dishonest attacks, including claiming on Israeli TV that terrorists are praying for Mr. Trump to win.
These are the desperate attacks of a flailing campaign sinking in the polls, and characteristics of someone woefully unfit for the presidency of the United States,” he concluded.
In contrast, her opponent Donald Trump has been able to hold his own throughout the entire campaign.
Trump has not fled the spotlight, nor let the liberal media bully him into silence.
And in typical Trump fashion, he tweeted out the following response to Hillary’s failed press conference:
“Hillary just gave a disastrous news conference on the tarmac to make up for a poor performance last night. She’s being decimated by the media!”
What do you think about Hillary’s press conference? Did she appear composed and presidential, or desperate and unfit to lead?
