Newt Gingrich Just Made This Major Prediction About Donald Trump

Donald Trump completed the reset of his campaign with a major speech in North Carolina.

Prior to the address, he had announced hiring Steve Bannon as campaign CEO and Kellyanne Comway as campaign manager.

And after all the developments, Newt Gingrich made a bold prediction.

Appearing on Fox News after Trump’s speech, Gingrich declared Trump was going to win the election.

Politico reports:

Following Donald Trump’s speech expressing “regret” for comments he has made throughout the course of his campaign, supporter and former House Speaker Newt Gingrich predicted the Republican nominee would prevail in November against Hillary Clinton.

“I’m going to go out on a limb tonight and you can keep this tape and remind me about it after the election, OK? Donald Trump’s going to win,” Gingrich told Fox News’ Sean Hannity on Thursday night. “Donald Trump’s going to win because in the end the country is not going to reward big banks and big unions and big bureaucracies and big donors and big corruption by voting for a big liar. And in the end, the country is going to say, you know, whatever Trump’s weaknesses may be, he’s a sincere guy trying very hard to get this country back on the right track.”

Gingrich had previously expressed frustration with Trump’s performance following the Republican National Convention, warning that the GOP nominee needed to stick to the issues and not go after anyone not named Clinton. And he also admonished establishment Republicans who are still opposed to supporting Trump.

“Now if a bunch of Republicans are too stiff-necked, too proud or in some cases too committed to the old order, after the election I think they’re going to be very sobered by this, their position,” Gingrich said. “Because the fact is I think he’s going to win.”

Hannity, a staunch Trump supporter, responded, “I hope and pray you’re right because I don’t think we can survive four more years of these failed policies.”

Trump’s speech was well received across the media spectrum for his biting attacks on Hillary Clinton and message discipline.

He laced into Hillary for her lies about Benghazi, her email server and her disastrous foreign policy decisions.

He cast her as a corrupt keeper of the status quo that has failed too many Americans.

Trump also blasted Hillary for supporting the same failed Democrat policies that devastated minority communities.

Sam Stein of the left-wing Huffington Post complimented Trump on his speech.

And Dave Catanese of U.S. News and World Report also praised Trump’s speech.

Will this speech be enough to help Trump turn around the race?

  • Craig Anderson

Its about time the American People see Hillary for what she is – shallow, untrustworthy, self-serving, and incompetent to be President

  • myfordtruck

Hes the only chance we have of getting this nation headed back in the direction we need to be going and its standing in the world

    • hjole

No he’s not, he is a carnival barker, liar and narcissistic liberal.

      • Donnie Buchanan

You must have misread. He is talking about Trump, not Obama or Hillary

        • hjole

          I had it right.

      • myfordtruck

        would rather have hillary

        • hjole

NO! I rather have a real conservative like Cruz…and don’t come back with I’m a Cruzbutt our Cruz is a liar. Heard all the BS too many time before.

          • myfordtruck

that sounds like a problem for you mine with Cruz was that he could not prove he was a American and eligible to hold that office and I know Rubio was not sure he was born here in Florida but his parents at that time were cuban citizens so that make him not eligible

          • hjole

actually eligibility for either Cruz or Rubio was never in question. in question. The only one that promoted that thought was Trump carnival barker.

          • Elephant

Get over it. Cruz is not what the people want and frankly, he went back on a contract he had with the Republican party. Not someone I can trust to keep his word. And I was a BIG Cruz fan. He blew it, buddy. Move on.

          • hjole

1st off I’m not your ‘buddy’, I’m not wasting my time trying to explain to some one whom has no respect for their own wife and father why Cruz didn’t support the carnival barker. Talk about going back on one’s word, your idol Trump has back tracked on every one of his campaign pledges/promises. you obviously don’t keep up.

          • Elephant

I keep up very well. And I wasn’t calling you my buddy, because you would never be my buddy with your attitude. He has stayed on track and is still staying on track. You need to get the real news and not what the libs are spewing.

          • hjole

it was your word, ‘buddy’ trying to be snarky nothing more.

you fool, he’s slightly better than Killary, but not much. If you were such a Cruz supporter why did you drop him, hear trump call him a liar too many times? BS he’s back tracked on everything, now his all for amnesty, pay attention.

          • Pamela B. Derouen

I don’t think you understand very well. He said nothing about amnesty. He did say sending the criminals back and doing research and vetting on others that have been in this country for years.

          • hjole

you didn’t listen very closely, what do think he meant by paying a fine and coming back. Law says after being caught illegally immigrating can cost the person 1 or more years or never being allowed back in, not paying taxes then being allowed in.

          • czech2

who are you talking to wholly-hole ? The man has a potential ,he is alive ,one in the world of clones !

          • hjole

            wtf?

          • myfordtruck

That is what he is supposed to do being the GOP and states did not vet them and what I said is by the constitution that they did not meet qualifications to run last time look what we got obama because he was not checked out

          • hjole

are you aware Cruz went to court and found to be eligible to run so stop the bs, you talk like Trump all made up BS…did you read that in National Inquire?

          • Pamela B. Derouen

Cruz was a citizen of Canada. Just before he decided to run he became a citizen of the US which was too late!

          • hjole

wow your way behind, Cruz has had dual citizenship since birth, he gave his Canadian citizenship up before announcing his run for the presidency.

          • myfordtruck

have never read that trash and never will or any like that leave that to people like you

          • hjole

lol, here’s some good advice for someone like yourself and whole bunch of other Trumpettes: a human brain and parachute are a lot a like, they both work best when open. Think about it, oh that’s right you can’t, sorry. ha ha

          • myfordtruck

My mind is open to legal things if it or you are not sorry for you also I try to live by Gods word and hate is something I do not have in my Heart can you say the same thing and by the way there is stuff I don,t like about Trump but legally he was the best one running

          • hjole

WRONG, AGAIN! You sir are an idiot if you believe Trump and his lies about Cruz not being legal to run. May I suggest you do a little research and find out the truth. If you believe in god you may just find the courage to do so.

          • myfordtruck

you just showed what type of person you are and Will not lower myself to yours belive what you want you vote and belive as you want as I have and and will continue to do I will not see any more of trash

          • ricktenny

Think about this. We have had true conservatives, tea party republicans, demorats, now socialists and libertarians for over two hundred years. Look where we are. Maybe this time around the idea of having a businessman steer the ship for a while might not be such a bad idea.

          • hjole

all depends on the business man and his political ideology. Trump’s problem is he is a liberal at heart…has been all his life.

          • Elephant

            PROOF PLEASE!

          • hjole

proof is Trumps past, all 69 years of it. And don’t give me that shit it was for business, BS. He’s a NYC liberal.

          • Elephant

Sorry, that’s too easy. Give me ONE scenario.

          • hjole

            proof of what?

          • raysmithson1

Do please change your pantie hose.

          • hjole

wow you’re a clever one, what ever that means that drooled down your chin.

          • Pamela B. Derouen

+hjole You kinda sound like a poor loser. Awww Did you like Cruz???

          • hjole

Trump as a presidential candidate makes America a loser.

      • Elephant

I’m sick of people saying he is a liar. I want one, just one example of how he has lied. And it is pretty funny you libs want to call him a liar when ALL Hillary does is lie. Come on one example,

        • hjole

your quick to classify people…truth is I’m very conservative, not a wishy washy moderate like you, maybe?

          • Elephant

Who’s quick to classify people? Show me where I classified you anything.

          • hjole

‘You need to get the real news and not what the libs are spewing.’ that’s calling me a lib if you think I get news from them, why would a conservative use lib talking points, huh, huh. Your words again just like you inferring I’m your ‘buddy’ as you were trying to be insulting.

      • raysmithson1

        Pantie hose too tight?

        • hjole

apparently you’re the one upset, drooling with spit all running down your chin.

  • Dave Gray

On his worst day, Trump can’t be made to look bad enough to make Hellery look good!

    • raysmithson1

      Pantie hose to tight Dave?

  • Donnie Buchanan

Trump will not only win, but he’ll win by a massive landslide.

  • sherm4040

I think Trump’s last several speeches have been spot on! But He is going to have to go into the ghettos and tell it like it has been for 50 odd years. If he does this and faces the many minorities…tells it like it has been and challenges them to inspect their lives for the last 8 years, enough of them may just believe what he is saying about the Obama era! Are you really getting ahead?? He only needs to gain 10 or 15% to have a big impact on HRC’s builtin voting block. And by facing them, he adds the fact that he cares for them like he says…we are all in this together…
Another thing that has reared it’s head is where are the people who have checked out for the past 10 or 20 years? i have heard on the various networks and on Hannity and Limbaugh that, roughly only 40% or so of Americans have been voting. They quit because nothing changes when they interrupt their lives in useless causes. Demoncrats and Republicans have lied to the people, over and over and most Americans have kind of given up. But they are still out there and they just may be paying attention. They could be a huge impact on this election! Trump is not the usual fair! He has appeal to many who WANT change! And they may just show up! And I’ve heard that they may not be able to vote because they have not been voting…. Lot of BS! These folks go vote in their local elections, because they hold the local government in their hands and they get what they vote for!

  • Evy

Yep that She Devil is going to lose and Trump is going to win. Go Trump Go!!!!

  • Simon Percival

Drumpf’s only chance is if he can be kept on a leash. If he then win’s the presidency, it’s difficult to see how a leash would be possible. I will not speculate as to what happens then…but I try to be optimistic.

    • SouthernPatriot

What about demented Demonrat Hillary with Parkinsons, a shadow woman standing near with a anti-seizure pen, who won’t even have a press conference for almost 300 days?

      • Simon Percival

What about that? The alternatives yet again for POTUS are poor. I remain to be convinced not to write in “A ham sandwich” even though that is probably not politically correct given the pork reference.

    • Pamela B. Derouen

I cannot fatham how the American people, fully knowing of all of her corruption can even think about voting for hillary. What is wrong with the American people? She has lied and has American blood on her hands. She has made deals with our enemies for the love of money! Has deleted very confidential emails and was negligent with all email. Put our Country into danger, and yet people still want to vote for her WHY?? Because of a Democratic Party?? I was a Democrat all my life. I’m not saying that I always voted Democrat. I voted who I thought would do the job right! This election I changed my party to Republican. WHY? Because I am so outraged @ the Democrats that have been in office and we need to save our Country! I am upset about the Republicans that are in office also. They did not do their job correctly either. Now I’m done! Rant over!

  • SouthernPatriot

Trump is a sincere American who wants to restore the American Dream, protect our borders, reduce regulations on our own energy–oil, coal, and natural gas, so we can stop sending billions to make Muslim countries that support terrorists who come to kill and maim us. Trump will undo most of what Obama and Hillary and their sycophants have done to ruin this republic.

    Trump 2016!

  • ricktenny

I think if he continues to hammer Clinton on her lack of any real record, the constant lying, the failed record as Secretary of State, Benghaze, isis, and hit hard on the economy and her promise to stick with obama’s policies, I think he’ll win.

  • Phil Esposito

I believe you’re right, Newt. Everybody I’ve spoken to will not tolerate a hildebeast president. He will win unless she has my dead Uncle voting again.

  • czech2

one wants to own the big toy she lived next to for 8 years to play with and will do anything to get it ,the other lives and talks the way we would see things 50 years ago , who will I vote for ?
