“I like Donald Trump because he speaks from the heart,” said President Barack Obama’s half-brother, Malik Obama, from his home in a small village in western Kenya.
“Make America Great Again’ is a great slogan. I would like to meet him,” Malik also added.
President Barack Obama’s half-brother Malik has announced he will be voting for Donald Trump. Although he was born and raised in Kenya, Malik resides and is registered to vote in the state of Maryland, where he ran his half-brother’s charity foundation, Barack H. Obama Foundation.
Barack Obama Sr. left Kenya and a one-year old Malik in 1959 so he could attend the University of Hawaii. While at the university, Obama Sr. married Ann Dunham, who was white and born in Kansas, and they shortly conceived Barack Obama Jr.
However, Obama has a total of seven half-siblings due to his father’s promiscuity.
A strong reason as to why Malik has expressed his distaste for his half-brother’s administration is their involvement in aiding to the overthrow of Libyan dictator Muammar Gaddafi in 2011.
Malik expressed his dissatisfaction proclaiming that Gaddafi was, “making this world a better place.”
Gaddafi was a personal and “best” friend of Malik, and clearly this is a sore spot of contention between the two half-brothers, even at the behest of Barack making him the Director of his foundation.
The foundation had been under a microscope in an IRS investigation when it was assumed that Barack intervened:
“Malik Obama, the eldest, is the director of the Barack H. Obama Foundation, a controversial Virginia charity named for his father. He says he started the charity in 2008 because he wanted to make a difference in the family’s hardscrabble village in Kenya. But the charity came under fire when in 2011 that it was an off-the-books operation that hadn’t registered with the state of Virginia or, as it claimed, had tax-exempt status from the IRS. Shortly after The Post report, the IRS gave its stamp of approval, leading to speculation that the president had intervened.”
But Malik’s response to the intervention was that Barack “didn’t help me at all. He wanted me to shut it down when I set it up. He hasn’t supported me at all.”
After years of being loyal to his half-brother and the Democrat agenda, Malik has officially altered his allegiance to the Republican ticket.
One such reason Malik gave in response to his defection was the Democratic Party’s views on same-sex marriage.
Malik now insists the Republican’s Party’s stance on this issue, “appeals to me.”
Do you think Obama is enraged by his half-brother’s decision to support Donald Trump?
