Fox News recently posted a segment discrediting the information in the infamous Trump dossier.
The dossier was created by former MI6 agent Christopher Steele and was released in January 2017, which caused issue for Trump in the preceding months.
A year later, the dossier is still being brought up by liberal media–but President Trump just had the final say on the document’s credibility.
Following the Fox News report discrediting the information, Trump tweeted that the dossier is bogus.
WOW, @foxandfrlends “Dossier is bogus. Clinton Campaign, DNC funded Dossier. FBI CANNOT (after all of this time) VERIFY CLAIMS IN DOSSIER OF RUSSIA/TRUMP COLLUSION. FBI TAINTED.” And they used this Crooked Hillary pile of garbage as the basis for going after the Trump Campaign!

Former Congressman Jason Chaffetz dismissed the document as bogus during an interview on Fox and Friends.
Chaffetz pointed out that the “tainted” FBI refused to reveal who funded the opposition research document, but evidence has since connected funding to the Clinton campaign and the DNC.
Fusion GPS, an American-based research firm, hired Steele under the direction of both the Clinton campaign and the DNC.
Following Trump’s electoral win, funding from the Democrats dwindled until Steele started receiving funding only from Glenn R. Simpson of Fusion GPS.
President Trump has fervently denied the claims in the document, which falsely contained allegations of his team working with the Russian government to give Trump the upper-hand in the election.
Trump’s Democratic opposition, Hillary Clinton, used the dossier and subsequent investigation as fuel to attempt to undermine Trump after her crippling loss in the 2016 election.
The investigation is still ongoing, though Trump himself has been assured by advisors the Special Counsel leader Robert Mueller will soon have no choice but to close the investigation due to lack of evidence.
For now, Robert Mueller is continuing his witch hunt against President Trump–but with no findings, the dossier will soon prove to be irrelevant.
Do you believe the controversy over the Dossier will soon come to an end?
