Refugee- Supporting Ohio Governor To Blame For Ohio State Attacks

More violence has reoccurred in the United States as a Somali refugee committed an act of terror against Ohio State University.

The refugee was a registered student who used a car to ram through a crowd of students, injuring many. The student also exited the vehicle and began stabbing the body of students before he was shot down by a local police officer.

Many took to Twitter to condemn the actions of Ohio Governor John Kasich, due to his support of open border and sanctuary city policies.

One user blamed the Governor directly for the attack.

The Daily Caller reports:

Others point out the inevitable flaws in his policies. After allowing immigrants into Columbus, OH as a type of sanctuary city, the governor also regulated stricter gun control.

The Daily Caller reports:

Kasich is one Republican who openly supports regulation of weapons and open borders. The Governor also lost popularity after he openly did not support the now President- Elect Donald Trump during the election.

His open border and sanctuary city policies are clearly having the results many feared they would, as the attack by a Somali refugee is predicted to be one of many.

Kasich also lost a large amount of support during the Republican primaries for siding with President Barack Obama on the Syrian refugee problem.

The Daily Caller reports:

Kasich responded to the tidal wave of resistance by expressing his praise for those who exhibited peace and resilience during the attack.

The Daily Caller reports:

“My thoughts are with the victims of this attack right now and I pray for their safety and recovery. I am grateful for the professional, coordinated response from first responders whose efforts helped effectively contain the incident before further harm could be done. I have been staying in contact with Ohio first responders since the incident began and have spoken with Ohio State’s President Dr. Michael Drake to pledge whatever additional help the university needs.”

What are your thoughts? Is Kasich and his open border policies to blame for the refugee attack?
