Social Justice Warriors Apparently Boycott Entire Cities

12-6-16-trumpIn yet another cry for attention by liberals, a so-called “social activism” group has decided they are going to boycott major industrial cities in the United States. They cite their reasoning has to do with the police violence and lack of intervention by said cities.

Shaun King, a self-proclaimed activist for the social justice group Black Lives Matter, now plans to boycott entire cities, albeit even major ones at that.

The columnist for the New York Daily News announced his plans to gather a group together to boycott New York, San Francisco, and the Standing Rock Indian Reservation. The group made a certain list of demands to be met in order to deter their boycotting plan.

The Daily Caller News reports:

As King told Joyner, the proposed strategy includes:

  1. “A full tourism boycott”

  2. “A comprehensive divestment plan where we ask people to pull their money out of banks, financial institutions, and investment plans in which we have determined that those institutions either directly support racial injustice or police brutality in those cities or have chosen to remain completely silent in the midst of this national crisis.”

  3. “A targeted national boycott of businesses in those cities that have either directly supported injustice or have remained painfully silent in the face of it.”

  4. “[Disruption of] cities by protest designed to inconvenience and shut down both commerce and government.”

King claimed he had dubbed the group, “Injustice Boycott”, and the goal of the group was to protest the police brutality in those cities. The group would also “actively work” to make sure the cities meet their “demands”.

The official announcement was made on the Tom Joyner Morning Show.

The Daily Caller News reports:

In an official announcement on The Tom Joyner Morning Show, King said that the project, which he has dubbed Injustice Boycott, will aim to force the progressive cities to meet local activists’ demands regarding police brutality.

And if those demands are not met within 43 days — by Martin Luther King Jr. Day — King says that he will activate Injustice Boycott supporters — more than 200,000 people, according to his estimate — to level a four-prong attack on commerce and government.

King, who was employed by the New York Daily News last year as a “justice” columnist, claims that boycotting the cities would commence once the 43-day period was over.

King claims he has over 200,000 willing participants who are threatening to boycott these major cities. He also noted in the interview that he wishes to see more progressive cities undertaken by the boycotting schemes in 2017, though he feels that if the group were to expand quickly enough, it would fall apart due to his previous failures with other social justice issue-related groups.

The Daily Caller News reports:

King has legitimate cause for caution on that front. Several activist projects he has started over the years went belly up due to his mismanagement.

As The Daily Caller has reported, King started two separate projects — Justice for All and Justice Together — in which he used volunteers’ time and donations to help further the fight against police brutality. But mismanagement of Justice Together sparked a civil war of sorts between King and other Black Lives Matter leaders. DeRay Mckesson, a prominent activist, criticized King on social media for refusing to address his handling of Justice Together. King returned more than $10,000 in donations he raised for Justice Together after The DC’s report.

It is unknown how reliable the columnist really is; however, many of his stories told for sympathy are inconsistent with events that actually occurred.

The Daily Caller News reports:

The DC has also reported that stories that King has told about racial struggles he has faced in the past are inconsistent with reality. For example, King claimed that he was the target of a racial hate crime when he was a high school student in Kentucky after he was attacked by a group of white classmates. The DC reported that the detective who worked that case found no evidence that the incident was racially motivated

Though King has gone public with his plan, it seems to be just another scheme created by liberals to gain media attention.

What are your thoughts?

Do you think it is possible to boycott such large cities with such a small group of people?

Do you feel as if the protests by social justice warriors are getting out of hand?

The stupid persistence of BLM is absolutely mind-boggling, but then again George Soros doesn’t know when to quit… most egomaniacal narcissistic liberals don’t!

  • Ken Henkel

First of all, he’s white and presenting himself as black. He said that as a child in high school he was allegedly attacked by a group of white people because he was black. Well, he wasn’t black and there were people saying that wasn’t why he was attacked and there’s no proof of it.”

Shutting down commerce and government is not a First Amendment right. This man is a domestic terrorist, not a civil rights activist.

He should be arrested and charged as a terrorist for trying to disrupt the lives of millions of Americans who must go to work everyday in order to support themselves and their families.

I have lived in three neighborhood that I had to move out of because black people were moving in. Not because I didn’t like black people but because of the filth, the violence and the lack of respect they have for other people including themselves. They acted more like animals than like humans and were constantly confrontational and demanding. You don’t take care of your homes and you always think we owe you something because your distant ancestors were slaves.
What the hell has that got to do with you? Grow the Hell up!
You black people have done this to yourselves. You didn’t need our help.
