This Liberal University Is Ignoring The Major Issue With This New Course

University of Wisconsin-Madison is currently trying to cover their tracks after making public the fact the school will soon offer a course entitled “The Problem of Whiteness”.

After making the decision to offer the course focusing on supposed “white supremacism”, many complaints were rightfully received about the highly offensive title of the course.

Breitbart News reports:

Administrators at the University of Wisconsin-Madison released a statement claiming that their controversial course entitled “The Problem with Whiteness” was not designed to be offensive.

In response to complaints that the course’s title was offensive, the University of Wisconsin released a statement to reduce concerns by clarifying the that the course is a “challenge and response to racism of all kinds.”

The course launch was originally announced last week by a professor who claimed “racism by white people” was a major social issue needing to be addressed.

The school made an official statement concerning the matter, but not one that condemned the highly offensive class name.

Breitbart News reports:

We believe this course, which is one of thousands offered at our university, will benefit students who are interested in developing a deeper understanding of race issues,” the statement reads. “The course is a challenge and response to racism of all kinds.”

The University of Wisconsin-Madison allegedly reviewed the course material, and deemed it “ethical” according to their seemingly low standards.

Breitbart News reports:

Although the course meets the ethnic studies requirement at the University of Wisconsin, Madison, this particular course is not mandatory. The statement stresses that students that participate in this course will do so voluntarily.

The statement clarifies the fact students may voluntarily participate in the class, as with any other class offered at the college level nationwide.

But the fact of the matter is a progressive professor is once again bringing social concerns into an educational setting.

Moreover, liberal Millennial students are protesting relentlessly against social issues in what has almost become a fad amongst college-level students now.

Social justice groups such as Black Lives Matter and even progressive students who seemingly are concerned with the results of the election are dominating campus life as well.

The University of Wisconsin-Madison is just another pawn in the hands of liberal social justice warriors, and their offering of the “Problem of Whiteness” course is just another outcry that will fall short.
