Liberal hysteria has reached a whole new level.
Ever since Trump became President, liberal protestors have stormed the streets throwing temper tantrums in protest and waving signs like “Love Trumps Hate” while they vandalize property.
But when this United States Senator gave a “tearful” speech condemning President Trump and calling him “nasty”, Trump publicly called him out.
In a dramatic speech, Senator Chuck Schumer pretended to wipe away tears as he expressed the “grief” he felt due to Trump’s latest plan to stop radical Islamic terrorists from entering America.
“Tears are running down the cheeks of the Statue of Liberty tonight as a grand tradition of America, welcoming immigrants, that has existed since America was founded has been stomped upon,” Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer said in a statement. “Taking in immigrants and refugees is not only humanitarian but has also boosted our economy and created jobs decade after decade. This is one of the most backward and nasty executive orders that the president has issued.”
But while Schumer’s crocodile tears may have been able to fool his liberal base, it didn’t fool President Trump.
Since the beginning of his campaign, Trump has pledged to secure America’s borders.
And now as President, he’s honoring his campaign pledge.
Trump’s executive order suspends the issuance of visas for 90 days from seven countries which are known to be hostile to the U.S.
It also stops Syrian refugees from entering the United States indefinitely.
The goal of Trump’s executive order is aimed at keeping radical Islamic terrorists out of America.
In fact, polls show the majority of Americans agree with Trump’s plan to protect America and fight terrorism, even though liberal politicians are throwing fits and joining protestors in the street saying it’s “un-American”.
Schumer is attempting to fool the American people and stir up hatred against Trump.
But when Senator Schumer joined Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi for a pro-open border rally on the steps of the Supreme Court, which ended up failing due to technical difficulties, Trump wasted no time calling him out and renaming him “Fake Tears” Schumer.
“Nancy Pelosi and Fake Tears Chuck Schumer held a rally at the steps of The Supreme Court and mic did not work (a mess)-just like Dem party!”
Like Trump, many Americans see right through Schumer’s dramatic public display of staged emotion.
Interesting enough, under President Obama, Senator Schumer supported the very thing he now claims to be against.
In 2015, when the possibility of pausing the influx of Syrian refuges was discussed, Schumer agreed it might be necessary.
Schumer’s comments broke rank from his Democrat counterparts, but he refused to walk it back.
The Hill reports:
“Republicans immediately seized on Schumer’s comment, which breaks with other Democrats who have argued against halting the program.
Schumer, however, declined to take the option off the table ahead of a special briefing scheduled for Wednesday afternoon on the process that is now used to vet refugees entering the United States.
“We’re waiting for the briefing tomorrow, a pause may be necessary. We’re going to look at it,” he said.”
Do you think Senator Schumer is misleading the people with his “fake tears”? Do you agree with Trump’s executive order to protect America from radical Islamic terrorists?
