During the Presidential debate Sunday night, Donald Trump vowed that if he is elected as President, he would order his attorney general to investigate Hillary Clinton and jail her for acts of treason.
While Clinton was spouting more lies about Trump and how he is supposedly unqualified for the position of Commander-in-Chief, Trump quickly bounced back with the rebuttal that Clinton should be in jail for all the activities she has carried out in her political career, some of which could be considered treason.
Breitbart News reports:
“It’s just awfully good,” she sing-songed, “that someone with the temperament of Donald Trump is not in charge of the law in our country——–”
“Because you’d be in jail,” Trump interjected with a vicious spear.
From the beginning of her nomination, Hillary Clinton has threatened Donald Trump with the notion she will raise the taxes of corporate businessmen, like Trump, if elected.
Trump returned Clinton’s offensive tactics by pointing out her many scandals, falsehoods, sketchy deals, and all around negative political influence.
Trump claimed during the debate he would have a special interest in the investigation of Hillary Clinton’s private email server.
The Daily Caller reports:
“I’ll tell you what, I didn’t think I’d say this, but I’m going to say it and hate to say it,” Trump stated directly to Clinton. “If I win, I ‘m going to instruct the attorney general to get a special prosecutor to look into your situation.”
“There has never been so many lies, so much deception. There has never been anything like it and we’re going to have a special prosecutor.”
Donald Trump further explained that the people of this country are furious because of the restlessness revolving around Clinton’s case; specifically, the obscure nature of the charges and the informal investigation by the FBI.
Trump further pushed the issue, pointing out the fact that many have been punished severely for far less than what Clinton has already confessed to, let alone the other illegal activities she has not yet been charged for.
The Daily Caller reports:
“The people of this country are furious,” Trump claimed before detailing the FBI’s scandal ridden investigation into Clinton’s email practices. “People, their lives have been destroyed for doing one-fifth of what you’ve done, and it’s a disgrace. You ought to be ashamed of yourself.”
Whether Donald Trump can carry out his vow is not yet known, but it is a harsh truth to know that Clinton has gotten away with so much because of her bribes and friends in political office.
For now, the thought of Hillary Clinton being jailed is a reassuring one, at the very least.
What are your thoughts? Would it be a justice to this country if Trump put Hillary in jail?
Or is Trump making false claims he won’t be able to carry out on his own?
