The liberal naysayers will try to convince conservatives that they’re being paranoid about voter fraud, or that it’s not a big deal and it doesn’t really affect the outcome of the general election.
But a new report by a national watchdog organization—the Public Interest Legal Foundation—found evidence of major voter fraud going on in Virginia and Pennsylvania, and the problems are likely affecting many more states says the group’s leader.
Just recently, a young Virginia Democrat from James Madison University confessed to registering 19 dead people on a liberal registration website.
The liberal Democrats proclaimed it wasn’t a big deal.
The same organization that uncovered fraud in Virginia and Philadelphia, PA is also filing lawsuits claiming voter fraud is taking place in Broward County, Florida and Wake County, North Carolina. It actually stretches as far as Democrat dominated states like California and Colorado, although lawsuits have not been filed there yet.
And an investigation by a separate watchdog group in Maryland has uncovered major irregularities in their state too.
The Public Interest Legal Foundation’s report found more than 1,000 instances of illegal immigrants or non-citizens being registered to vote in eight Virginia counties. They had cast nearly 200 ballots in elections before being purged from voter rolls.
The remaining 125 counties in Virginia did not choose to provide data, so it may be safe to say there is a widespread voter fraud epidemic.
Christian Adams, a lawyer who represents the Public Interest Legal Foundation and is a former U.S. Department of Justice lawyer who authored the book ‘Injustice: Exposing the Racial Agenda of the Obama Justice Department’, said that states have plenty of resources and tools they could use to uncover fraudulent voters, but most states refuse to use them.
For example, one such tool is the jury-duty process. People who have registered to vote get placed in the pool of jury duty applicants in most states, but it’s not until they receive a notice to serve for jury-duty that many admit they are not actually citizens.
Adams commented on using the jury-duty process,
“I wish Virginia was doing that. The governor vetoed legislation last year that would have required it.”
So how were these illegal voters caught in Virginia?
“These people lied when they got a driver’s license, their license came up for renewal and then they told the truth and it set off a flag.”
Basically these fraudulent voters accidentally incriminated themselves.
However, the Foundation’s report shows that the majority of fraud consists of non-citizens lying on voter registration forms, claiming they are U.S. citizens.
And federal law makes lying on a voter registration form a felony, but offenders of this law are rarely prosecuted.
“States all use the same voter registration form, which places them on an ‘honor system,’ essentially taking the word of the applicant that he or she is a U.S. citizen when they check the box declaring their citizenship.
We have to be on the honor system because of the 1993 National Voter Registration Act, also called the motor voter law. It’s a federally mandated form.”
An honor system is clearly unacceptable. No wonder the young Democrat from JMU so easily registered 19 dead people.
It takes these watchdog organizations to monitor and report the flaws in our voting registration because our government doesn’t care.
And they can’t find all cases of voter fraud because they are underfunded and undermanned.
Do you think we have a voter fraud epidemic or do you side with the liberals?
