Ilhan Omar has ruffled more feathers in the last six months than just about any Congresswoman.
She’s continually insulting America and insulting the people who have bled for this country.
Which is why it was so satisfying to watch Tucker Carlson shut down Ilhan Omar on live T.V. (and it only took him 11 words).
Carlson is known to be a brilliant T.V. host. When he gets people with differing opinions on his show, he’s able to show them the error of their ways and humiliate them in front of everyone.
And while he didn’t get to say any of the things you’re about to read directly to Ilhan Omar’s face, the truth is it didn’t take very long for Carlson to show anyone watching why the Freshman Congresswoman is entirely wrong about so many things, but especially on immigration.
Omar has complained about how President Trump has handled immigration. She’s made comparisons along the lines of the U.S. immigration policies being akin to a “genocidal” regime and has called the U.S. a neocolonial power with dreams of world domination.
That’s why Carlson pointed out it’s Omar who’s the problem with America’s immigration policy.
She’s everything that’s wrong with it, he claimed on his show.
“Congresswoman Ilhan Omar, herself a symbol of America’s failed immigration system if there ever was one, someone who hates this country coming here at public expense, spent yesterday demanding the abolition of ICE, the decriminalization of illegal immigration itself, and an end to all deportation programs,” Carlson said on his show. “She demands open borders, the unlimited arrival of anyone who wants to come to America whether they have anything to contribute or not and, by the way, you get to pay for it. And if you don’t want to, you are a bigot.”
Carlson then went on to point out that Omar is a symptom of a more significant disease; Democrat immigration policy as a whole is cancer to the U.S.
Carlson ranted that Democrats are trying to change the U.S. immigration system from one regulated by the rule of law, to a free-for-all that would allow them to collect cheap voters for free handouts.
Tucker put it this way: “Low-skilled immigrants have a harder time assimilating into the American mainstream. They stay poorer. They learn English more slowly. They’re more likely to remain an ethnic underclass. All of which makes them much more likely to vote Democratic long term. That’s the point, obviously.”
But what’s scary is it’s working.
Ilhan Omar would have never been elected when we had firm handling of immigration policy.
Now that immigration law is laxly enforced, and the U.S. is overrun with illegal immigrants, it means that people like her have a broad base they can pander to.
Omar, who came from Somalia, received support from other Somalis who came over here legally as well as a vast underclass of illegals in her home state of Minnesota.
If we don’t tighten up how immigrants make it into this country, Tucker’s assertion that Omar is “everything that’s wrong with our immigration policy” will be further realized as more and more anti-American politicians like her are elected to office.
