Donald Trump’s worst nightmare may be about to come true.
There is a major court case about protecting the integrity of the vote.
And now a judge has a huge decision to make about 200,000 votes in this contested election.
States clean their voter rolls to make sure inactive voters, people that moved and the deceased are no longer on the books.
This is small step to guard against fraud and make sure only legal vote counts.
And once again Georgia is Ground Zero for a fight to guarantee only legal votes count.
The leftwing group Black Votes Matter Fund is suing anti-Trump RINO Secretary of state Brad Raffensperger over Raffensperger scrubbing nearly 300,000 ineligible voters from the rolls.
“Last fall Georgia removed about 287,000 voters from the registration list. The lawsuit says nearly 200,000 of those people were improperly removed and seeks to have their registrations restored,” the Atlanta Journal Constitution reports.
Now the fate of these votes rests in the hands of Obama judge Steve Jones.
Critics worry leftwing groups are agitating to get these inactive and ineligible voters back on the rolls so they use their names to request mail-in ballots as part of a voter fraud scheme ahead of the January 5 Senate runoff election.
“We’re in a state of John Lewis, Dr. (Martin Luther) King — we stand on the shoulders of great titans,” Black Voters Matter Fund lawyer Tricia “CK” Hoffler exclaimed. “If one person, if two people don’t have the ability to vote and were purged improperly, that’s one or two people too many. And the secretary of state made the mistake.”
The Georgia Secretary of State’s office argued that voters had plenty of time to correct their registration situation if the became inactive or ineligible.
“Voters have had almost a year to reregister,” attorney for the secretary of state’s office Bryan Tyson explained. “The absentee ballots for Jan. 5 went out on Nov. 21. And so we are now at the point of, if we made these changes now, we interfere with an ongoing election.”
Donald Trump and the overwhelming majority of his supporters believe Democrats stole Georgia through mail-in votes where a consent decree presented signature verification.
The January 5 runoff elections between Republican incumbents Kelly Loeffler and David Perdue and radical Democrats Jon Ossoff and Raphael Warnock will effective decide control of the United States Senate.
Georgia Governor Brian Kemp refused to call a special session to close gaps in election security such as no excuse mail in absentee voting and drop boxes which are invitations to ballot harvesting which is illegal under Georgia law.
Trump supporters in the state are livid Kemp refuses to secure the integrity of the vote ahead of these runoff elections.
