Barack Obama and his allies are scrambling into damage control mode.
A years-long cover-up of the biggest scandal in American political history just blew up.
And now a smoking gun just proved Barack Obama’s guilt in this awful crime against Donald Trump.
Department of Justice Inspector General Michael Horowitz finally released his report on the investigation into the FBI’s abuse of power in spying on the Trump campaign.
Despite panicky leaks to fake news CNN and the failing New York Times from “sources familiar with the report” that tried to downplay Horowitz’s findings, the final work product was even more devastating for top Deep State ringleaders like James Comey and Andrew McCabe.
Horowitz made it clear that Comey and McCabe presided over a criminal syndicate at the highest levels of the FBI that pulled every dirty trick in the book to try and get Donald Trump.
The report confirmed what many Americans knew about their thuggish conduct.
But Horowitz’s report offered tantalizing new details about Barack Obama’s involvement in the scheme to use the fake news Christopher Steele dossier to falsely accuse the Trump campaign of colluding with Russia.
Texts from disgraced former FBI officials Peter Strzok and Lisa Page made it clear Obama wanted to be kept in the loop in granular detail about the FBI’s Russia witch hunt.
“Yes be POTUS wants to know everything we are doing,” Page texted Strzok.
That context is important.
Andrew McCabe told the Inspector General that McCabe advised the President that the Steele dossier should be included in the Intelligence Community Assessment that Russia meddled in the 2016 election to help Donald Trump win.
[T]hat he had three reasons for believing that the Steele election reporting needed to be included in the ICA: (1) President Obama had requested “everything you have relevant to this topic of Russian influence”; (2) the Steele election reporting was not completely vetted, but was consistent with information from other sources and came from a source with “a good track record” that the FBI had “confidence in”; and (3) McCabe believed the FBI, as an institution, needed to advise the President about the Steele election reporting because it had been widely circulated throughout government and media circles, and was likely to leak into the public realm.
Obama agreed and gave an order that made it easier to share the hoax Steele dossier across the various intelligence agencies.
Horowitz also wrote:
The Intel Section Chief said that McCabe understood President Obama’s request for the ICA to require the participating agencies to share all information relevant to Russia and the 2016 elections, and the Steele election reporting qualified at a minimum due to concerns over possible Russian attempts to blackmail Trump.
Horowitz’s report was Barack Obama’s worst nightmare.
Far from being the final word on Spygate and “vindicating” Obama’s Deep State allies, Horowitz’s report only scratched the surface of the criminal conspiracy hatched at the highest levels of the Obama administration and the FBI.
Americans are turning their eyes to United States Attorney John Durham’s criminal investigation into the origins of the Russian collusion hoax for more answers on Obama’s role in this scheme to undermine American democracy.
