Democrats are going all in for the 2020 election.
If they can’t win, their party as we know it is over.
And a top Democrat dropped a huge hint about the 2020 election that changes everything.
Since losing in her race for Governor in Georgia, Stacey Abrams has become one of the top figures in the Democrat Party.
She still believes she should be in office because the election was stolen from her.
Abrams still has not conceded in the race in an unprecedented move.
After Democrats threw a fit over Donald Trump saying that Democrats may steal the election from him, they saw Abrams as a hero for alleging the same thing.
In response to her newfound fame, she founded Fair Fight Action to combat so-called election fraud, and voter suppression.
They believe that Republicans are suppressing votes from minorities, which is harming Democrats running for office.
But this group is far from where Democrats in the Party expect her to end up.
Democrats picked Abrams to respond to Trump’s most recent State of The Union Address, where she blasted Trump for his statement, while refusing to say Trump’s name even once.
Since then, there has been a lot of speculation that Abrams would jump into the race for President in 2020.
But at this point, it is clear that will not happen.
Even without her running for President, she apparently still has a chance to get a position in the White House.
On a recent airing of the Joe Madison Show, Abrams discussed the possibility of her being on one of the existing Democrat’s tickets as their Vice President.
“If the question is would I like the job I’m not going to be coy and say no,” Abrams said. “Of course, I would love that opportunity.”
And it seems very likely she will get that opportunity.
Already, Democrats are talking about potential Vice Presidents.
Stacey Abrams is consistently on the top of potential lists.
The fact that she is a black woman is especially important to the party so set on using identity politics.
Robert Francis “Beto” O’Rourke, who is very unlikely to ever be President, recently said that it would be “very difficult not to select a woman” for Vice President.
And Cory Booker said that he will not accept an invitation to be Vice President unless the candidate for President is a woman.
“I would not accept it if a male offered me because we should have a female vice president,” Booker said.
Currently, with the top three candidates in the Democrat field being Joe Biden, Elizabeth Warren, and Bernie Sanders, Abrams seems to be the most likely pick.
For Biden and Sanders, she gives them both a minority and woman to throw on the ticket.
And Warren will use her to try to appeal to minorities.
