Robert Mueller has Democrats panicking.
And the damage has only just begun.
After clearing Trump of any collusion, the Mueller report just forced a top Democrat to admit a stunning defeat that changes everything.
Democrats were sure that Robert Mueller would deal a death-blow to President Trump.
Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer, and their Democrat allies in Congress bet the farm on the Special Counsel tying the Trump campaign to Russia’s interference in the 2016 election.
Democrats were all but certain that Mueller would come out with concrete evidence that the Trump campaign, and maybe even Donald Trump himself, had colluded with the Russian government.
But when Mueller came back this past month and completely cleared President Trump of any collusion with the Russians, or of committing any crime at all, Democrats were left in a panic.
And things have only gone downhill for them since.
The news that Mueller had cleared Trump of everything left Democrats without any backup plan.
And now, Democrats are having to admit defeat in a way they’ve never done before.
“House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer (D-MD) said Thursday that the findings of special counsel Robert Mueller’s report shows pursuing impeachment proceeding against President Donald Trump is “not worthwhile at this point,” reports Breitbart.
This is huge news.
Steny Hoyer is one of the top Democrats in the House.
He’s next in line to be Speaker after Nancy Pelosi, and he’s one of the most senior members of the entire Democratic Party.
If he says impeachment is off the table, it’s almost certainly off the table.
And this comes after years of Democrats ranting and railing against the President for colluding with the Russians, something which Mueller proved was a complete lie.
The fact that the Democratic House Majority Leader is admitting that impeachment is a political dead end, shows that the Democrats bet it all on Mueller and lost big.
This is nothing short of a national humiliation for Democrats, and a complete vindication for Trump, who spent years defending his integrity and honor against the most coordinated political hit job in history.
And now Democrats have nothing to show for it.
“Based on what we have seen to date, going forward on impeachment is not worthwhile at this point. Very frankly, there is an election in 18 months and the American people will make a judgment,” Hoyer told CNN chief political correspondent Dana Bash.
“Hoyer’s remarks come after the Department of Justice released the special counsel’s report, which states the investigation found no evidence of collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia during the 2016 presidential election,” adds Breitbart.
Democrats now have zero options to remove Trump from power before the 2020 elections.
And now Trump is positioned excellently to win re-election next year as the Democrat collusion story was proven to be a giant lie.
It’s obvious now that the Mueller report so totally backfired on Democrats that it may have actually helped the President’s chances heading into the 2020 election, as Trump seeks a second four-year term in the White House.
We will keep you up to date with any new developments in this ongoing story.
