Unhinged Hollywood leftists are nothing new in America.
But what just happened takes the cake.
This Hollywood superstar crossed a huge line when she said this one word on television.
“80 for Brady” stars Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin recently appeared on the leftwing talk show ‘The View’ and, naturally, Fonda’s longtime activism for extremist causes came up.
Fonda launched into a tirade over the Supreme Court overturning Roe v. Wade and falsely claimed that all women would never accept the end of abortion-on-demand in America.
“We have experienced many decades now of having agency over our body, of being able to determine when and how many children to have. We know what that feels like, we know what that’s done for our lives,” Fonda ranted. “We’re not going back, I don’t care what the laws are. We’re not going back.”
Co-host Sunny Hostin remarked that “she [Fonda] probably will get a Nobel Prize.”
“It’s the truth, it is the truth,” Fonda responded. “We’re gonna fight.”
Co-host Joy Behar asked Fonda what else liberals could do besides marching in order to protest against ending the horrors of abortion-on-demand.
“Well, I’ve thought of murder,” Fonda responded.
However, there was a bunch of crosstalk when Fonda said this, so Tomlin asked Fonda to repeat herself.
“Murder,” Fonda repeated.
Behar immediately grew nervous and tried to claim Fonda was just joking.
“She’s just kidding,” Behar stammered. “Wait a second… They’ll pick up on that and just run with it. She’s just kidding.”
Up until this moment, the lowest Fonda had ever gone before was in the 1970s at the height of her fame when she traveled to North Vietnam and posed for propaganda photos by sitting on a North Vietnamese anti-aircraft gun – earning her the infamous nickname “Hanoi Jane.”
Had a Pro-Life conservative appeared to suggest murder was an acceptable way to stop abortion, CNN would have hounded every Republican member of Congress to denounce the Pro-Life cause.
Attorney General Merrick Garland would have declared Pro-Life activists as domestic terrorists and conducted surveillance and undercover operations to round up and arrest conservatives opposed to abortion.
But because Jane Fonda is a pro-abortion leftist, the corporate media merely yawned at this call for political violence and Fonda got away with telling Fox News she was just joking.
“While women’s reproductive rights are a very serious issue and extremely important to me, my comment on The View was obviously made in jest,” the statement from Fonda to Fox News said. “My body language and tone made it clear to those in the room – and to anyone watching – that I was using hyperbole to make a point.”
“Women across the country are facing real threats when it comes to our bodies, and people lose faith in our mission to protect women when others choose to focus on tangential issues and passing jokes instead of the actual problem at hand,” the statement concluded.
