Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is a lightning rod for criticism.
But one face to face confrontation led to a scene that no one could believe.
And Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez heard two words that stopped her dead in her tracks.
Florida Congressman Ted Yoho is a Trump supporter and member of the House Freedom Caucus.
The Hill reported on confrontation between Yoho and socialist Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez on the east steps of the capitol.
According to a fake news reporter that witnessed the confrontation Yoho told Ocasio-Cortez she was “out of her mind” for falsely claiming the surge in violence in New York was due to desperate poor people looking for bread to feed their family.
“You are out of your freaking mind,” Yoho added.
Ocasio-Cortez responded that Yoho was “rude.”
The Hill alleged that after Ocasio-Cortez walked away Yoho muttered a profanity saying to no one in particular saying “f$%^&ing b^&*tch.”
In an interview with The Hill, Ocasio-Cortez played the victim role to the hilt.
“That kind of confrontation hasn’t ever happened to me — ever,” Ocasio-Cortez told The Hill. “I’ve never had that kind of abrupt, disgusting kind of disrespect levied at me.”
Yoho’s office released a statement to The Hill denying Yoho ever swore at Ocasio-Cortez
“Congressman Yoho had a brief member to member conversation on the steps of the Capitol. As you know, these conversations happen frequently when the House is in session. He did not call Rep. Ocasio-Cortez what has been reported in the Hill or any name for that matter,” Yoho’s statement began.
“It sounds better for the Hill newspaper and gets more media attention to say he called her a name – which he did not do. It is unfortunate that Rep. Ocasio-Cortez is using this exchange to gain personal attention. Instead, he made a brief comment to himself as he walked away summarizing what he believes her polices to be: bullshit,” Yoho’s statement concluded.
Of course the fake news was not about to let this go.
Ocasio-Cortez is the queen to Democratic Party activists like POLITICO’s Jake Sherman.
Sherman fumed that Yoho should be expelled from Congress for daring to question Ocasio-Cortez.
“In any other workplace, this would result in expulsion. Will be interesting to see how house Rs handle this,” Sherman ranted on social media.
Without even knowing the facts of the situation left-wing partisans in the media were demanding the House GOP caucus expel Yoho because he may have expressed his frustration in dealing with a lunatic like Ocasio-Cortez to himself and to no one in particular.
Needless to say, no one in the fake news media would take a second hand report as gospel that a Democrat committed a gross violation of decorum and demand that Democrat be expelled from Congress.
