Hillary Clinton is quietly prepping the groundwork to run for president in 2024 if Joe Biden declines to seek a second term.
But Hillary Clinton got some bad news.
And this FBI agent’s testimony in a criminal case put the final nail in the coffin of Hillary Clinton’s career.
Special counsel John Durham’s prosecution of former Clinton campaign lawyer Michael Sussmann is underway.
This is the marquee criminal case in Durham’s investigation into the origins of the Russian collusion hoax.
Durham charged Sussmann with lying to the FBI about not meeting with them on behalf of his client – the Clinton campaign – during a September 2016 meeting where Sussmann tried to trick the FBI into investigating the Trump campaign for colluding with Russia based on fabricated evidence.
Sussmann met with then FBI General Counsel James Baker where Sussmann peddled the nonsensical conspiracy theory falsely claiming a server in Trump Tower communicating with a server for Alfa Bank – a Kremlin linked bank.
Baker testified that Sussmann told him he was there as a private citizen and tried to pass off some supposed “evidence” about the Trump campaign conspiring with Russia.
“He [Sussmann] said he was not appearing before me on behalf of any particular client, and that he had some information that was of concern relating to an apparently surreptitious communications channel between something called Alfa Bank – which he described as being connected to the Kremlin in Russia – and some part of the Trump Organization in the United States,” Baker testified.
“I thought he was coming to see me as a good citizen who had obtained some information,” Baker added. “Knowing Michael [Sussmann], I would think he would want to help the government.”
This lie was central to Durham’s case about how the Clinton campaign tried to rope the FBI into investigating Trump in the final weeks of the campaign by framing Trump.
In her opening statements, prosecutor Deborah Brittain Shaw said the Clinton campaign tried to engineer the ultimate “October surprise” based on a “look, leap and lie.”
Shaw: The case involves “a look, a leap, and a lie.” The look was meeting with Steele to look into what he had, the leap was reaching out to friendly media outlets to publish the allegations, and when that didn’t happen, Sussmann went to the FBI.

Hillary Clinton is looking to run for president in 2024.
Hillary – just like every other Democrat – knows that at age 82 Biden will be too old, too cognitively impaired, and too unpopular to run for a second term.
But the Durham investigation and prosecution of Michael Sussman threatens to expose all the lies, crimes, and dirty secrets of the Clinton campaign’s attempts to throw the United States into years worth of upheaval by fabricating the Russian collusion hoax.
If Hillary ran for president again in 2024 it would force Democrats to constantly relitigate he 2016 election instead of talking about the country’s problems.
And that is not a recipe for victory.
