Coronavirus has been attacking the world for over eight months now, but states are still covering up how they handled the initial wave of cases.
New York especially has come under heavy fire for its coronavirus practices.
Now, Andrew Cuomo was busted for this unbelievable lie.
He claimed months ago that COVID-19 patients were not being sent to nursing homes where they later died.
However, evidence suggests that this is a massive lie.
Nick Arama from RedState blog stated:
“[Cuomo] said that Wuhan coronavirus patients were never sent to the nursing homes in New York, that there were ample other places to send them such as the Javits Center that had been set up by the president and the federal government to help out New York.”
And while it is true that Cuomo could have had these patients sent to these centers, his crime is that he did not.
On March 25, Cuomo ordered nursing homes across the state to admit over 6,000 positive COVID-19 patients.
Cuomo placed active coronavirus sufferers in incredibly close proximity with the people who were the most vulnerable to the disease.
Because of this heartless order, over 6,000 nursing home residents perished from the virus.
If Cuomo had ordered those who tested positive to the specified disease centers, countless lives would have been spared.
But he didn’t.
And he lied about it.
In an attempt to cover his tracks, Cuomo told the media that he never ordered the coronavirus patients to the nursing homes.
But now his lies have been uncovered.
And how they were uncovered has shocked the media world.
CNN, who previously refused to report on Cuomo’s shady scheme in New York, were the ones to expose it.
They started by calling out Cuomo’s lies, stating:
“Facts First: Cuomo’s assertion that “it never happened” is false. According to a report from the New York State Department of Health, “6,326 COVID-positive residents were admitted to [nursing home] facilities” following Cuomo’s mandate that nursing homes accept the readmission of Covid-positive patients from hospitals. Whether or not this was “needed,” it did in fact happen.”
Then, they offered the necessary facts that clearly revealed the damage Cuomo caused:
“On May 21, The Associated Press reported, “More than 4,500 recovering coronavirus patients were sent to New York’s already vulnerable nursing homes” under the state’s advisory.
In July, the state’s Health Department released a report that found “approximately 6,326 COVID-positive residents were admitted to facilities between March 25, 2020 and May 8, 2020.”
All in all, there were still available beds in outside facilities, but Cuomo ordered the coronavirus patients to the nursing homes anyway.
With this new information, the DOJ is looking into the scandal which will hopefully prompt a full investigation of Cuomo’s gross misconduct.
