One insider holds the key to the worst secrets of Barack Obama’s Deep State.
And this high-ranking operative signaled he is willing to spill his guts before investigators.
Now Barack Obama is nervous that this whistleblower will convict him of these awful crimes.
Donald Trump and Senate Republicans are using the end of the Mueller investigation to turn their focus on how the FBI and the Obama administration launched this politically motivated witch hunt in 2016.
There was no evidence of Russian collusion, and the flimsy story about how the FBI began Operation “Crossfire Hurricane” does not hold water.
That’s because the FBI did not seek a FISA warrant to spy on George Papadopoulos – the Trump campaign aide who supposedly told Australian diplomat Alexander Downer that a professor told him the Russians had damaging emails on Hillary Clinton.
Instead, they spied on Carter Page.
Papadopoulos’s name was never mentioned in the dossier, but Page was a central figure in Steele’s allegations of collusion.
Critics of the Obama administration and the FBI contend that the fraudulent Christopher Steele dossier played a much larger role – and may have been the key piece of “evidence” – in igniting the FBI spying on the Trump campaign.
And one man who may hold the answer to these questions is former CIA Director John Brennan.
Brennan appeared on MSNBC after Donald Trump told Fox News channel’s Sean Hannity that the Russian investigation was a fraud.
The real purpose – Trump stated to Hannity – was to stage a coup to overthrow him and nullify the results of the 2016 Presidential election.
In response to Trump’s remarks, Brennan told MSNBC’s Hallie Jackson, “I don’t think it’s surprising at all that we continue to hear these sociopathic ramblings of Mr. Trump claiming that there was this effort to try prevent him from being elected or to unseat him.”
Americans were intrigued by Brennan offering to testify before Congress about this matter.
“I welcome any type of continued investigation of what we did that period of time that we were in government,” he continued. “I’ve testified in front of Congress … and absolutely I’ll do it again.”
Brennan was one of the key figures in the Obama administration promoting the conspiracy theory about Russian collusion contained in the fake news Steele dossier.
During the 2016 election, Brennan briefed Harry Reid on the dossier’s allegations in hopes that Reid would then leak them to the media in order to craft a story about treason and international intrigue that would dominate the final months of Trump’s Presidential campaign.
But Brennan’s efforts failed because not even the most die-hard anti-Trump reporters could verify the dossier’s allegations.
If Senate Republicans call Brennan to testify, they will ask him about this scheme.
They will also press him on Barack Obama’s knowledge of the dossier and how his Justice Department and the FBI colluded in order to spy on the Trump campaign.
We will keep you up to date on any new developments in this ongoing story.
