Barack Obama is out on the campaign trail and Democrats are getting desperate.
Polls show Republicans on the cusp of a red wave election.
And now Barack Obama went nuclear and created this embarrassing scene in public.
Democrats targeted Wisconsin Republican Senator Ron Johnson for defeat.
Elected Democrats and their handmaidens in the press despise Senator Johnson because Senator Johnson exposed the lies about COVID lockdowns and vaccine mandates, destroyed the media narrative that January 6 was an armed insurrection to overthrow the U.S. government, pointed out Ukrainian meddling in the 2016 election on behalf of Hillary Clinton, and investigated Hunter Biden’s corruption.
But Democrats nominated radical socialist Mandela Barnes to take on Johnson.
After Johnson’s TV ads showed Wisconsin voters that Barnes supported defunding the police and praised the Ayatollah of Iran after the Ayatollah expressed support for Black Lives Matter Johnson seized a commanding lead in the polls.
With just over a week until Election Day Obama visited Wisconsin in a desperate bid to ramp up black turnout, which early voting in other states shows is lagging.
Obama launched into a false attack that Johnson supported tax breaks for rich people to buy private jets while shafting working-class Americans.
Obama ranted:
Ron Johnson, as a senator, helped give millions of dollars in tax deductions to some of the biggest donors that funded his campaign. And after he voted for a tax plan that allows people to write off the costs of private planes– I’ve been trying to get this thing closed since I was president.
If you can afford a private plane, then you don’t need a tax break! But no, he fought for this. And then his adult children bought, not one, not two, but three private planes, because apparently carpooling was not an option.
This is a lie.
IRS data shows the 2017 Trump tax cut bill that Johnson voted for actually benefited middle-income earners the most.
Americans making $500,000 received a nine percent tax cut while Americans earning more than $1,000,000 got a six percent tax cut.
By contrast, Americans earning between $15,000 and $50,000 saw a tax cut ranging from 16 to 26 percent.
Those earning between $50,000 and $100,0000 saw their taxes reduced between 15 and 17 percent.
Obama also dipped into the well for the old stand-by smear Democrats always resort to when the polls show them losing – claiming Republicans want to kill grandma by eliminating social security and Medicare.
Obama raged:
Meanwhile, Senator Johnson voted to raise the retirement age to 70, supported a plan that would put Social Security and Medicare on the chopping block every single year. Each year you’d have to vote to renew this thing. I mean, think about it, because Washington works so well that you want your Social Security and Medicare reliant on Congress every year. He’s called Social Security a Ponzi scheme, said that it’s candy that the left is giving it away.
The point is, some of you here are on Social Security. Some of your parents are on Social Security. Some of your grandparents are on Social Security. You know why they have Social Security? Because they worked for it. They worked hard jobs for it. They have chapped hands for it. They have long hours and sore backs and bad knees to get that Social Security!
And if Ron Johnson does not understand that, if he understands giving tax breaks for private planes more than he understands making sure that seniors who’ve worked all their lives are able to retire with dignity and respect, he’s not the person who is thinking about you, and knows you, and sees you, and he should not be your senator from Wisconsin!
None of this is true.
If Republicans win Congress Social Security and Medicare will not disappear.
But polls show Senator Johnson on track to win, and Democrats are resorting to the same tired old lies.
