Hollywood loves Barack Obama, and wishes he could serve a third term.
They constantly look to him as a hero, instead of the horrible President most of America sees him as.
And one of Obama’s favorite TV stars just got the news proving his life is over.
Jussie Smollett shocked America after faking a brutal hate crime.
The “Empire” star claims that two men, wearing Make America Great Again hats, viciously beat him and put a noose around his neck while yelling “this is MAGA country.”
But that story has completely fallen apart, making Smollett a national disgrace.
His promising future as a television star is now in huge doubt.
And in just the past few days, he got the final blow proving he’s done, and will likely never gain a major role again.
The co-creator of “Empire” finally made it clear that Smollett is done with the series.
“Jussie [Smollett] will NOT be returning to ‘Empire,’” the Fox series co-creator Lee Daniels announced Tuesday.
Prior to faking his hate crime, he was a good friend of Barack Obama.
Smollett was a prominent feature at White House events, gaining a shout out from the then-president in 2016 at an event.
“Has everybody had a good time tonight?” Obama asked the audience at a 2016 White House event. “… Jussie Smollett!”
And even after his fake hate crime, the Obama family appears to have connections with Smollett.
Longtime Obama family friend and former top aide for Michelle Obama, Tina Tchen, is responsible for charges against Smollett being dropped.
Tchen sent text messages to Cook County State’s Attorney Kim Foxx in support of Smollett, only to have Foxx drop charges just days later.
But just because the charges are gone doesn’t mean that he is completely out of trouble.
Police in Chicago are furious about the outcome, and want to force Smollett to pay their investigation fees for wasting everyone’s time.
The city of Chicago is pursuing $130,000 from Smollett in a civil lawsuit in order to recoup overtime payment to police officers.
They also want $1,000 for every false statement made to police, along with covering attorney’s fees.
Clearly, the police are furious about this case of unserved justice.
Smollett’s attempted hate crime was either to gain name recognition due to those giving him sympathy, or to make it appear that Trump supporters are racist.
There has been a major increase in hate crime hoaxes since the election of President Trump.
With the media constantly claiming that Trump is spewing hatred, it is clear that the left is trying to create hoaxes to make it appear as though they are telling the truth.
President Trump blasted Smollett in a tweet, which is appropriate considering he is the one the TV star is trying to paint as a racist:
“In addition to great incompetence and corruption, The Smollett case in Chicago is also about a Hate Crime. Remember, ‘MAGA COUNTRY DID IT!’ That turned out to be a total lie, had nothing to do with ‘MAGA COUNTRY.’ Serious stuff, and not even an apology to millions of people!”
Do you think Smollett should be punished for his hate crime hoax?
