Bernie Sanders has never been a team player for the Democrats.
But now he’s openly divided them.
Bernie Sanders made a big announcement that shocked his most loyal followers.
There’s a huge problem that is now facing the Democratic Party and there’s no way for them to get around it.
The Democrat Party can’t be both capitalist and communist.
They’ll have to pick which one they want to be, right now they’re trying to appeal to both sides of their voters but they’re failing.
Candidates like Elizabeth Warren who tried to appeal to both groups failed miserably.
Bernie Sanders hasn’t found a communist dictator he hasn’t like. He admitted he admired Castro in Cuba on the campaign trail.
He didn’t fire his campaign staff member who was caught on camera saying that Trump supporters and billionaires should be sent to concentration camps for re-education.
Bernie Sanders gave the communists in America hope that they could have a real Marxist president.
After having Bernie Sanders denied the nomination that he was heavily favored to win because the Democrat leadership manipulated the race to favor Joe Biden is not going to sit well with his followers.
They expected Bernie Sanders to fight this out to the bitter end but Bernie Sanders has thrown in the towel and is out of the race.
According to the Daily Wire:
Sanders announced his decision to drop out in an all-staff call on Wednesday morning, the day after Wisconsin’s Democratic presidential primary. A press release noted that while “the campaign ends, the struggle continues.”
“I wish I could give you better news, but I think you know the truth, and that is that we are now some 300 delegates behind Vice President Biden, and the path toward victory is virtually impossible,” Sanders said in a livestream address to supporters…Sanders suggested that the coronavirus pandemic, which prevented him from holding traditional campaign rallies and get-out-the-vote efforts in the last weeks of his campaign, contributed to his decision to suspend his operation rather than continue to fight for the nomination through the Democratic National Convention.
“As I see the crisis gripping the nation,” Sanders said, “I cannot in good conscience continue to mount a campaign that cannot win and which would interfere with the work required of all of us in this difficult hour.”
Sanders said, however, that he will stay on future primary ballots and will “continue to gather delegates” to the Democratic National Convention this summer, saying that his supporters must be “working to assemble as many delegates as possible to exert significant influence over the party platform.”
It’s clear that Bernie Sanders is still in the fight even if his campaign has been suspended.
He may have no hope of becoming president but he could still cause real problems for Democrats who aren’t overly enthusiastic about Joe Biden.
Democrats are facing a real problem since they’re reliant on Marxist voters and now they’re trying to win them over rather than independents going into the general election.
