Bill Clinton and scandal are never far apart.
But this latest crisis takes the cake.
And Bill Clinton broke out in a panic when this dead body turned up.
Billionaire financier, Bill Clinton friend and alleged pedophile Jeffrey Epstein reportedly killed himself while incarcerated in the Metropolitan Correctional Center in Manhattan.
Epstein allegedly tried to kill himself on July 23 but NBC’s Tom Winter reported Epstein was not under suicide watch.
“NBC News: Jeffrey Epstein was not currently on suicide watch when he was found in his cell this morning. He was, however, housed in his own cell without other inmates. Reported by @jonathan4ny and @anblanx.” Winter added, “This new information will raise serious questions about why he wasn’t considering NBC News and others reported he was after an incident just over two weeks ago.”
The Washington Post’s Carol Leonnig reported that people close to Epstein believe he never tried to kill himself and was attacked in July and that Epstein was murdered in prison.
“People close to Epstein fear he was murdered…as Epstein told authorities someone tried to kill him in a previous incident weeks earlier. He was described as being in good spirits in recent days…” Leonnig continued, “Remember previous incident July 23: it was never cleared up whether Epstein had been attacked, as he said, or if he was covering up his own suicide attempt.”
Conspiracy theories immediately spread on social media that Epstein was another victim of the #Clintonbodycount.
After Epstein’s arrest, Clinton put out a false statement lying about how long he knew Epstein, where they met and how many times Clinton flew on Epstein’s private plane dubbed the “Lolita Express” because of how many underage girls Epstein allegedly ferried on the plane to his private island.
Many Americans wondered why Clinton told so many lies about his relationship with Epstein if he had nothing to hide.
Epstein’s files about who attended his parties were expected to contain the names of many powerful people in both political parties.
Former New Mexico Governor – and Clinton administration U.N. Ambassador Bill Richardson – and former Senate Majority Leader Democrat George Mitchell were implicated in Epstein’s affairs.
Unsealed court documents revealed one of Epstein’s alleged victims claimed Epstein allegedly forced her to have sex with Mitchell and Richardson.
His death immediately raised suspicions that he was the victim of foul play and that a rich and powerful person with something to hide may have went to extreme lengths to make sure Epstein took his secrets to the grave.
Attorney General William Barr released a statement upon news of Epstein’s death and announced the FBI would investigate.
“I was appalled to learn that Jeffrey Epstein was found dead early this morning from an apparent suicide while in federal custody,” Barr declared. “Mr. Epstein’s death raises serious questions that must be answered. In addition to the FBI’s investigation, I have consulted with the Inspector General who is opening an investigation into the circumstances of Mr. Epstein’s death.
