The lies the Democrats are telling about impeachment are collapsing.
And now increasing numbers of the American people are seeing through the lies and misinformation the Democrats peddled to push these sham charges against the President through the House of Representatives.
And things took a turn for the worse when Chuck Schumer was caught red-handed hiding this video from his past that will leave you speechless.
Democrats and their allies in the fake news media know the impeachment case against the President is paper thin and bipartisan majority in the Senate is likely to exonerate the President.
So Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi are trying to make hay out of comments Mitch McConnell made indicating that he will coordinate with the White House on the structure of a Senate trial.
“Let the American people hear it loud and clear, the Republican leader said, proudly, ‘I’m not an impartial juror. I’m not impartial about this at all.’ That is an astonishing admission of partisanship,” Schumer ranted on the floor of the United States Senate.
But Schumer’s hands are not clean on this matter.
In 1998 Schumer won election to the Senate by campaigning on a platform that stated a vote for Schumer was against a vote to convict Bill Clinton on articles of impeachment.
In a subsequent interview with fake news CNN’s Larry King, Schumer expanded on his thoughts that Senators did not have to be impartial jurors in an impeachment trial.
“We have a pre-opinion,” Schumer told King. “This is not a criminal trial, but this is something that the Founding Fathers decided to put in a body that was susceptible to the whims of politics.”
“So therefore, anybody taking an oath tomorrow can have a pre-opinion; it’s not a jury box,” Schumer added.
In a later interview with NBC “Meet the Press” host Tim Russert, Schumer explained how he – as well as three other Republican Congressmen that voted for impeachment and also won election to the Senate in 1998 – could maintain their oath as jurors despite have staked out a position on impeachment prior to a Senate trial.
Given this context, the American people see Schumer’s protests about McConnell and the Republicans supposedly not acting as impartial jurors for what they are: the last-ditch attempt by a partisan gunslinger to claw for any political advantage he can.
Schumer’s transparent partisan hackery is why impeachment polls fell largely down party lines.
Democrats and some left-leaning independents support it while Republicans and the rest of independent voters oppose it.
Schumer’s past comment coming to light will only harden Republican resolve to reject these desperate attempts to bully the Senate into allowing the Democrats to run the Senate trial.
Conservative Revival will keep you up to date on any new developments in the Democrats’ impeachment witch hunt to remove Donald Trump from office.
