Chuck Schumer, like many Democrats, thinks about 2020 a lot.
His hope is that 2020 finally brings the ousting of Donald Trump.
However, Chuck Schumer is shaking in his boots after this new fact about Trump was released.
And this fact is as true as the sky is blue and mountains are tall.
And when you read “shaking in his boots,” it’s probably more severe than that—Schumer’s likely pulling all his money out of the stock market and preparing to become an expat.
Because just 16 months shy of election day, Trump is sitting pretty with the best approval ratings he’s ever had.
Who knows what exactly made those numbers rise.
Perhaps it’s Trump’s stellar handling of the influx of illegal immigrants along the Southern border.
Or maybe it’s how the Mueller investigation dissolved in the blink of an eye and the entire Russia collusion narrative proved to be a Democrat-fueled farce.
What’s even funnier is the networks that polled Trump’s latest approval ratings are the ones who hate Trump the most.
According to ABC News and the Washington Post, a poll they ran shows the President’s approval ratings surging 5 points since they last collected numbers in April.
He now has an approval rating of 47%, his highest ever since taking office.
While they painfully admitted that, they did show that 50% of people who plan to vote in 2020 don’t approve of his job in office.
Which shouldn’t come as a surprise when you consider how the media has been hellbent on lying and manipulating the news about President Trump.
If they had been honest even half of the time, imagine how many more Americans would hold a favorable opinion of Trump.
The area where voters think Trump has really shined is with his handling of the economy – apparently economic growth helps bolster positive opinions of the President.
More than 51% of voters polled said he’d done a good job taking care of the American economy – tariffs against China and Mexico resonates with voters apparently – with only 42% saying they didn’t approve.
And what were the problem areas for Trump you may wonder?
Fox News cited that Trump received poor marks on, “… immigration, health care, women’s issues, abortion, climate change, gun violence, and foreign policy. Almost half of those questioned also disapprove of Trump’s job in handling taxes.”
But all those issues are near and dear to the left.
He should be polling poorly in those areas!
Still, Trump supporters ought to remember that Trump didn’t poll well against Hillary in 2016 and still beat her, so the fact he’s not above 50% shouldn’t lead them to be discouraged.
Besides, once Robert Mueller goes before the Senate Republicans to testify, you can expect the Democrats to come out with egg on their face – making Trump look even better than he already does.
