Chuck Schumer Was Hopping Mad When a Rising Star Made an Unforgivable Error
There is one thing everyone does before announcing they’re running for Senate.
But Jon Ossoff didn’t make sure it got done.
Chuck Schumer was hopping mad when a rising star made an unforgivable error.
Two Georgia Senate seats are up for grabs in the upcoming election.
After the tight election for the state governor, which Stacey Abrams has still not conceded, all eyes are on Georgia to see if the Democrats will be able to make progress.
Jon Ossoff already has experience, he lost a special congressional race in 2017 despite raising $30 million but lost to Republican Karen Handel.
He should have enough experience campaigning not to make rookie mistakes.
Most candidates make sure that they locked up the rights to relevant internet domain names.
Jon Ossoff can provide a cautionary tale because his campaign hadn’t taken that important step.
The National Republican Senatorial Committee bought www.Jonossoff.com and visitors to the site are sent to an article by the Washington Examiner, “Jon Ossoff, top Democratic congressional candidate, raises questions with misleading resume.”
The article tells how Ossoff inflated his resume to make it look more impressive.
He said in an advertisement, “I’ve got five years of experience as a national security staffer in the U.S. Congress…I held top-secret security clearance.”
Even the Washington Post fact-checker viewed that as inaccurate because he was implying that he had held important positions and a top-level security clearance for five years, when in reality he only held his top-secret security clearance for five months.
The National Republican Senatorial Committee is going to continue running www.Jonossoff.com for as long as Ossoff is in the race.
They consider it a great resource they can use to educate voters about Ossoff’s misleading information and irrational liberal views.
The Democrats looked to Jon Ossoff’s congressional race in 2017 to give them hope after Trump’s election, however Jon Ossoff failed them.
Do you think that Democrats will be able to raise their game in 2020 or will they suffer another crushing defeat?
