The mainstream media has irrationally fought against Trump.
But now even CNN was forced to concede Trump’s policies are working.
And they just admitted to Trump’s latest victory in an astonishing confession.
The media laughed when Trump said he was going to make Mexico pay for the wall.
Even with Congress working against him on immigration, Trump has done what he can to make the borders safer.
That’s included being tough on Mexico by threatening crippling tariffs unless they came to reasonable terms on border security.
While the liberal media thinks being tolerant is the only option, being passive does not make countries more likely to follow the direction of American policy.
If America is seen as weak, we will be taken advantage of.
But now, Trump’s actions have resulted in an unparalleled success that even the media can’t ignore.
After years of being passive about the illegal immigration of people across their border and into America, Mexico is finally working with America to find solutions.
Nick Valencia of CNN tweeted:
“BREAKING- Mexico has deployed almost 15,000 troops to the US-Mexico border to curve migration flow. An additional ~2,000 National Guard elements have also been deployed across the country’s southern border with Guatemala & Belize”
“I have never seen this kind of cooperation from Mexico before in terms of immigration.”
While the Democrats are surprised Trump’s tough stance on Mexico worked, it makes perfect sense to the rest of America.
Donald Trump made it in Mexico’s best interest to do what he asked of them by applying pressure with tariffs.
And their aid in border security comes at an ideal time. In early June, U.S. Customs and Border Patrol tweeted:
“CBP continues to face a worsening crisis at the Southwest border. In May, CBP apprehended or deemed inadmissible 144,278 individuals along the SWB—a 32% increase over the previous month.”
We already have 11.4 million illegal immigrants in the United States and that number is rising rapidly.
Meanwhile Congress refuses to approve the funds necessary to process the immigrants once they reach the country.
Trump is working tirelessly to find solutions to a difficult problem.
