Fake news CNN is at the head of the parade of anti-Trump media outlets.
CNN executives thought they could get away with filling the air waves and social media with lies, smears and conspiracy theories about the President in order to bring him down.
But now fake news CNN just made this one confession that is the final nail in the network’s coffin.
Covington Catholic student Nick Sandmann became an object of fake news media hatred when last January at the March for Life, so-called “media” outlets like CNN smeared Sandmann and his classmates as racists for bullying an 85-year-old Native American political activist by surrounding the man, chanting and blocking his ability to retreat from a supposedly hostile situation.
Sandmann and his classmates wearing red MAGA hats only added to the fake news narrative that “white supremacist” Trump supporters got their jollies from bullying racial minorities.
But fake news CNN and the rest of the left-wing corporate media jumped the gun.
The full video of the encounter showed the Native American activists initiated the entire confrontation by marching into the middle of the gathering of the Covington Catholic students and banging his drum in Sandmann’s face.
Sandmann filed a $275 million dollar lawsuit against CNN as part of a massive campaign to hold the fake news media accountable for smearing Sandmann and his classmates as racists.
Americans that truly want a free and fair press cheered Sandmann’s lawsuit.
Even President Trump offered his support for Sandmann and his quest for media accountability.
And their hopes for a positive resolution were turned into a reality.
CNN settled after a judge reinstated Sandmann’s lawsuit against the Amazon Washington Post.
The Cincinnati Inquirer exclusively reports:
The Cable News Network (CNN) has reached a settlement with Nick Sandmann, a Covington Catholic High School student who had sued the news outlet saying it defamed him.
A CNN spokesperson confirmed Tuesday with The Enquirer that a settlement was reached.
The network would not comment on the details of the settlement. Nick’s lawyers did not respond to phone calls or emails at the time of this report.
CNN likely settled not because they feared losing the lawsuit.
Once a judge let the suit against the Washington Post proceed, the big worry for CNN was the discovery process.
Fake news CNN would be forced to make emails and communications from internal channels available to Sandmann’s legal team.
Those messages likely contained political dynamite that would expose CNN executives, production staff and so-called “reporters” as partisan political assassins out to kill the reputations of teenage boys.
While terms of the settlement were undisclosed and CNN will never officially admit guilt, the mere act of settling with Sandmann shows just how terrified of a trial CNN really was.
Fake news CNN put on a brave front about how they stood by their reporting and reported the truth as best as they knew it.
But their eagerness to settle this case and make it go away speaks volumes.
