CNN tried to take down Fox News. This is why it backfired in major fashion
Ever since Joe Biden announced his running mate, CNN has had nothing but fountains of praise for Kamala Harris.
She has quickly become the star of their show.
They are busy gushing about how she has “spent her career breaking barriers,” and how she has “no weaknesses Trump could exploit.”
In fact, CNN seems to care more about what minority boxes Harris ticks off rather than what her actual political opinions are.
Their endless admiration knows no bounds.
In light of this, it was no surprise when CNN lashed out against Fox News for interviewing their new perfect candidate.
CNN claimed Fox News “threw everything but the kitchen sink” at Harris.
Oliver Darcy, a CNN host, published an article on CNN Business which stated:
“Fox News was in full attack mode Tuesday night, throwing everything but the kitchen sink at Kamala Harris. From depicting her as a “radical running mate” to mocking the pronunciation of her name to suggesting Joe Biden didn’t actually select her himself, the conservative network’s prime time lineup was in overdrive.”
This article continued to describe how Fox News was nothing but a Trump propaganda live stream, that Trump “refused to answer any questions about coronavirus,” and a host of other made up issues.
However, in his attempt to bash Fox News’ coverage of Kamala Harris, Darcy revealed the biased sources he uses to defend his “unbiased” views.
Several times throughout the article, he references Media Matters, a website with no credible standing in politics.
Sister Toldjah summed up Media Matters as a whole when she stated:
“Media Matters is little more than a deceptive, dishonest mouthpiece for Democratic party talking points about how evil Republicans allegedly are and how Fox News supposedly operates which, come to think of it, is exactly what CNN is.”
They have a constant stream of articles bashing Trump and promoting the false narrative CNN is trying to push as well.
Essentially, Darcy was referencing this incredibly biased website in his supposedly “non-biased” article.
While it is acceptable for everyone to have opinions, it is not acceptable for a news reporter to report those opinions as ironclad fact.
But that’s what Darcy does and continues to do with every piece of media he releases.
Darcy continued digging his own grave when he tried to tear down Fox News for doing exactly what CNN has been doing all along.
CNN has pushed story after story about what a wonderful person, candidate, and human being Harris is, shoving their opinions at the masses.
But Darcy is not condemning them for that.
Simply, Darcy is ignoring CNN’s blatant biased narrative and attempting to blame Fox News for doing it instead.
Perhaps he believes CNN has amassed enough loyal followers that they don’t have to worry about what they say and do.
But he is wrong.
The nation is watching their every move and seeing their lies.
Only time will tell if the people choose to act on the information they have.
