Barack Obama’s world is unraveling before his very eyes.
Despite the nation’s focus resting on the coronavirus pandemic, investigators are getting even closer to the truth about the origins of the Russian collusion hoax.
And now Devin Nunes hit Barack Obama with some bad news about his allies going to jail.
House Intelligence Committee ranking member Devin Nunes discussed the bombshell developments of declassified footnotes from Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz’s report on the FBI’s abuses on power in obtaining FISA warrants to spy on former Trump campaign aide Carter Paige.
Nunes told Fox News that the footnotes – which showed the FBI knew Russian operatives were feeding Christopher Steele disinformation for his dossier – would lead to more criminal charges against Barack Obama Deep State agents.
“I would say that people should go and look at those footnotes that are now public. Likely we’re going to have more criminal referrals based on these,” Nunes said.
“We know that the Democrats were spreading disinformation, Russian disinformation, which we have been saying the whole time,” Nunes added.
The reports footnotes show that the FBI knew that two allegations – that the Russians had a tape of Donald Trump paying prostitutes to urinate on a bed during a 2013 trip to Moscow and the claim that Trump fixer Michael Cohen snuck into Prague during the summer of 2016 to set up a deal over emails hacked from the Clinton campaign – were the result of Russian intelligence operatives feeding Steele lies and disinformation.
Republican Senators Chuck Grassley and Ron Johnson released a statement crowing that the footnotes were proof that the Clinton campaign colluded with the Russians to frame Donald Trump.
“It’s ironic that the Russian collusion narrative was fatally flawed because of Russian disinformation,” Senators Johnson and Grassley’s statement read. “These footnotes confirm that there was a direct Russian disinformation campaign in 2016, and there were ties between Russian intelligence and a presidential campaign – the Clinton campaign, not Trump’s.”
In the report, Horowitz wrote of the FBI’s assessment of Steele’s work that “it did not have high confidence in this subset of Steele’s reporting and assessed that the referenced subset was part of a Russian disinformation campaign to denigrate U.S. foreign relations.”
Horowitz added that the FBI found an “outlining an inaccuracy in a limited subset of Steele’s reporting about the activities of Michael Cohen.”
The FBI also reported finding that the infamous “pee tape” allegation likely came from a Russian operative that infiltrated Steele’s network of sources.
“An individual with reported connections to Trump and Russia who claimed that the public reporting about the details of Trump’s [redacted] activities in Moscow during a trip in 2013 are false, and that they were the product of RIS ‘infiltrating a source into the network’ of a [redacted] who compiled a dossier of information on Trump’s activities,” the footnote stated.
The FBI knew in 2017 that the central accusations of collusion – that Michael Cohen traveled to Prague to consummate a deal with Russian intelligence and the idea that the Russians had blackmail on Trump – were hoaxes.
Yet they continued the investigation anyway.
It is impossible for fair-minded Americans to come to any conclusion other than the fact that the FBI – led by James Comey – ran this sham probe as part of a coup attempt to bring down Donald Trump’s Presidency.
