A Barack Obama loyalist inside the CIA got the ball rolling on impeachment by filing a “whistleblower” complaint against President Trump.
The story just took a dramatic turn.
And that’s because Devin Nunes dropped one bombshell that just exonerated Donald Trump.
One of the biggest points of contention in the fake Ukraine scandal is the so-called “whistleblower’s” lack of firsthand knowledge of the phone call where the spy claimed Donald Trump improperly pressured the Ukrainian President to investigate Joe and Hunter Biden.
Republicans noted that the intelligence community inspector general form for whistleblower complaints was changed to eliminate the box you were supposed to check to note if your complaint was based on firsthand knowledge or not.
Intelligence Community Inspector General Michael Atkinson testified behind closed doors to the House Intelligence Committee about his handling of this complaint.
Atkinson infuriated Republican lawmakers by refusing to discuss why the whistleblower complaint form was changed in September and backdated to August.
Intelligence Committee Ranking Member Devin Nunes discussed Atkinson’s testimony on Breitbart Today’s Sirius XM radio show.
Nunes explained that there was no good reason for Atkinson to change the form and then refuse to explain his decision to Congress.
“So he’s either incompetent or in on it, and he’s going to have more to answer for, I can promise you, because we are not going to let him go; he is going to tell the truth about what happened,” Nunes declared.
“First of all, you have the change of the forms.… You no longer had to have firsthand information; you had to have secondhand information. Clearly they backdated it to August. The evidence is clear that it didn’t change on the website until the 25th of September,” the California Republican added.
Nunes explained his theory on why the form was changed.
“So the form that the whistleblower filled out — he actually filled out the old form that said you had to have firsthand knowledge. The whistleblower readily admits he doesn’t have firsthand knowledge. So conveniently the IG did this, claims that was always the case, claims it wasn’t the law; I already told you, he’s going to have more questions to answer,” Nunes explained.
The whistleblower did not have firsthand knowledge of the July 25 call between President Trump and Ukrainian President Zelensky.
By filling out the form indicating that he did, the whistleblower committed a felony.
Many Trump supporters believe this is why the intelligence community inspector general altered the form and backdated the change so the spy’s “whistleblower” complaint passed muster.
Nothing about this so-called “whistleblower” complaint adds up.
The spy colluded with House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff’s staff before filing their complaint.
This smelled like a deep state hit job on President Trump.
And as the evidence piles up, it becomes easier and easier to dismiss the fake and corrupt news media spin that any such claims are nothing more than a “conspiracy theory.”
