There is no bigger story in America right now than the spread of the Chinese coronavirus.
Sports are canceled, businesses are closing and life is grinding to a halt.
And now Devin Nunes went on TV and told a blunt truth about coronavirus that stunned viewers.
Chinese coronavirus is a serious illness.
Older Americans and those with compromised immune systems are at risk.
But the fake news media is clearly trying to incite panic because so-called “journalists” think this is their best – and possibly last – chance to destroy Donald Trump’s Presidency.
Democrats pretending to be journalists are lying about Donald Trump’s response and also trying to talk the American people into a recession.
In an appearance on Fox News, California Congressman Devin Nunes took on the fake news media trying to weaponize the coronavirus for their political benefit.
Nunes began by comparing the media coverage of the Swine Flu pandemic from 2009 and 2010 to how the fake news media is covering the spread of the Chinese coronavirus.
“So as someone who actually did come down with H1N1,” Nunes explained. “I had it for about two weeks. It was a pretty bad flu. I know what it was like back then. But I also remember that nobody was panicking. I didn’t have to self-quarantine. They told me to stay away from people. They told me to keep my temperature down.”
Nunes made sure viewers got the clear picture that he took this virus seriously, but Nunes also wanted to drill down on the fake news media putting their partisan hatred of Donald Trump ahead of the good of the country.
“What the media and the left are doing here is they’re putting the country into a panic, and it’s for no reason,” Nunes added. “I’m not saying that this isn’t a serious health concern. We need to take it serious.”
Nunes also warned viewers that this would get worse before it gets better.
As testing ramps up the number of coronavirus cases will skyrocket and the medical professionals will finally be able to identify the scope of the outbreak.
But unlike the fake news media, Nunes also explained to anyone watching Fox News that this did not need to result in society-wide panic and that the nation would get through this pandemic.
“Now with that said, the more people that test, the more cases that we’re probably going to have that will come back positive,” Nunes cautioned the audience. “But by and large, most people are going to get over this very, very quickly.”
The fake news media and elected Democrats have a chance to provide the people with accurate information and a united front showing all of America is working together to solve this very real situation.
Instead, the focus of the fake news coverage of the virus is bogged down in partisan “gotcha” games trying to score points at Donald Trump’s expense.
