In the final week of the Presidential campaign the polls are undergoing a massive change.
No one on either side can believe what is happening.
And Donald Trump asked what happened when the polls in this key state shifted 7 points.
There are six key states Donald Trump must win on November 3 in order to secure re-election.
They are: Georgia, Florida, Iowa, North Carolina, Ohio and Texas.
Currently polls on Real Clear Politics show the President leading Biden in Georgia, Ohio and Texas.
Iowa and North Carolina are within the margin of error.
But Florida just shifted in the President’s favor.
A brand new poll by Susquehanna Polling and Research found Donald Trump surging to a four point lead over Joe Biden in the Sunshine State.
“The phone survey of 400 likely voters conducted October 23-25 showed Trump with 48 percent and Biden with 44 percent support, with a 4.9 percent margin of error. Libertarian Jo Jorgensen gets 2 percent of the vote, while 6 percent of respondents remain undecided or refused to answer. If “leaners” are included, Trump leads 48.5-44. This same poll conducted last month using the same methodology showed Biden with a 3-point lead,” American Greatness reported.
Susquehanna also found that President Trump was surging with independents and female voters, two voting blocs the fake news media claims the President alienated.
Key findings from the survey include the following: Trump is winning registered Independents/NPA’s 50:28, a huge reversal from a 37:40 Biden margin in September. The survey projects that Independents will make up 2 in 10 voters. Trump has also closed the gender gap with females, going from a 57:33 deficit to a 54:40 Biden lead in the current poll, marking a 7-point improvement for Trump.
The same pollster using the same methodology is one way you can evaluate if there is real movement in the race.
In this case Susquehanna Polling and Research shows a massive momentum shift in the President’s favor.
To be sure, other polls show Biden in the lead.
But POLITCIO’s Marc Caputo – who is based in Florida – also reported that one of Florida’s top Republican pollsters has private survey data showing the President holding a two point lead over Biden in Florida.
Since 1992 Florida has voted with the winner in every Presidential election.
51 million ballots have been cast in Presidential elections between 1992 and 2016 and just 20,000 ballots separate the Republican and Democrat vote totals in those elections.
Florida is always close.
But the early in person and mail in vote totals show Republicans cutting in to the Democrats’ lead.
That on the ground momentum – as well as this new survey research data – shows that Donald Trump is well positioned to secure Florida’s 29 Electoral College votes in his column.
