The mysterious coronavirus originated in China and has now spread to 37 countries across the globe.
Americans are nervously watching to see how badly this new virus will spread across the country.
Donald Trump got this really bad news about the coronavirus that sent him into a rage.
On Monday, the stock market plunged 1,031 points over investor fears that an outbreak of the coronavirus would disrupt the global economy by disrupting supply chains as workers stayed home to contain an outbreak of the virus.
When trading opened on Tuesday, the market recovered some of those losses.
However, those gains got wiped out and the market plummeted nearly 900 points after the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases Director Dr. Nancy Messonnier briefed the press and told the public that the coronavirus was sure to spread across America and cause “severe” disruptions to Americans’ lives.
“As more and more countries experience community spread, successful containment at our borders becomes harder and harder,” Messonnier told the press.
“It’s not a question of if this will happen but when this will happen and how many people in this country will have severe illnesses,” Messonnier added. “Disruption to everyday life might be severe.”
Investors could not sell stocks fast enough as visions of closed schools, empty work places and deserted sports stadiums filled their heads.
The following day, Rush Limbaugh and other commentators noted that Messonnier was former deputy attorney general Rod Rosenstein’s sister.
“So you’ve got here the CDC urging Americans to prepare for a coronavirus virus outbreak. ‘This might be bad, could be bad. Keep your kids at home. Don’t go anywhere. It might be bad. We’ve got 53 cases. It might be bad. It could be! The stock market’s plunging.’ Okay. This person running this agency, who does she donate to? Well, her brother is Rod Rosenstein,” Limbaugh explained.
“It may mean nothing. Might…Who knows?” Limbaugh continued. “It’s just in that town, I’m telling you, everything is incestuous. Most of that town is establishment oriented or rooted, which means they despise Trump.”
Rosenstein tried to bring down Donald Trump on multiple occasions.
Critics claim that not only did Rosenstein appoint Robert Mueller to try and drive out the President, but that Rosenstein allegedly wears a wire to help disgraced former FBI deputy director Andrew McCabe and other Never Trump officials to build a case that the cabinet should use the 25th Amendment to remove Donald Trump from office.
Even if Messonnier wasn’t purposefully tanking the stock market as part of a deep state plot to remove the President, critics noted her statement was highly irresponsible since it was not part of a coordinated White House message.
“I don’t understand how the CDC could make an announcement as important as yesterday without it being tightly coordinated with the WH. There should have been an Oval Office meeting, a statement by POTUS about protecting people, and then a press avail by experts. Bizarre,” former George W. Bush Press Secretary Ari Fleischer tweeted.
