The Biden administration and the FBI is still reeling from the fallout over the raid of Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home.
Now Americans are learning what the FBI was really after.
And it turns out Donald Trump is sitting on a smoking gun that will seal the FBI’s doom.
Newsweek reported that sources close to Donald Trump explained that the secret classified documents the FBI were really after pertained to the Russian collusion hoax and contained evidence of how the FBI tried to stage a coup to overthrow Trump.
“Trump was particularly interested in matters related to the Russia hoax and the wrong-doings of the deep state,” Newsweek reported the source explaining. “I think he felt, and I agree, that these are facts that the American people need to know.”
“The sought-after documents deal with a variety of intelligence matters of interest to the former president, the officials suggest—including material that Trump apparently thought would exonerate him of any claims of Russian collusion in 2016 or any other election-related charges,” Newsweek also reported.
The source told Newsweek that there were some records in dispute that the government needed to collect, but that the warrant was written so broadly as to provide cover for the FBI to invade Mar-a-Lago and seize the Russian collusion documents without explicitly having to come out and say so.
“They collected everything that rightfully belonged to the U.S. government but the true target was these documents that Trump had been collecting since early in his administration,” the Trump source told Newsweek.
In the wake of the reports that the FBI raid was another attempt to cover up the truth about the Russian collusion hoax the Biden administration tried to get their spin and talking points out through the administration loyalists on CNN.
On Erin Burnett’s CNN show White House correspondent Kaitlan Collins reported that the administration was nervous about the documents Trump possessed because of that old saw about exposing sources and methods.
“Erin, but we are told that internally there is a pretty high level of concern about what exactly documents were taken to Mar-a-Lago, and what potentially could be at risk by the fact that they were taken there, not in a secured facility as the way that the federal government defines that and certainly not the way the intelligence community defines that as,” Collins began.
“And so, they are concerned, what we are hearing from sources, it could potentially put the methods and sources that the U.S. intelligence committee puts at risk. They’re not sure whose hands this was in, what has happened to the information. Obviously, it was not held in a secure facility. That’s why they were so concerned about it,” Collins added.
Of course, the sources and methods the FBI worried the documents would expose are the foreign sources like Professor Stefan Halper who spied on the Trump campaign for the FBI during the 2016 election.
And the methods the documents will bring to light would be the means through which the FBI manufactured the Russian collusion hoax to frame Trump and try and end his presidency.
