Tensions in America continue to rise as rioters and protestors incite anarchy in the streets.
The American people reached their breaking point and demanded action.
That led to Donald Trump issuing an ultimatum that made every Democrat take a deep breath.
Videos of Black Lives Matter agitators tearing down statues of American historical figures bombarded Americans over the span of several days.
Black Lives Matter supporters tore down statues of Ulysses S. Grant – the General that defeated the confederacy, Francis Scott Key, Christopher Columbus and Thomas Jefferson.
One group of rioters even placed an American flag over the head of a George Washington statue and set it on fire before throwing the monument in a lake.
In an interview with EWTN, President Trump finally declared enough was enough.
“You saw Ulysses S. Grant, where they want to take him down. He’s the one that stopped the ones that everybody dislikes so much. It’s a disgrace. Also, remember, some of this is great artwork. This is magnificent artwork, as good as there is anywhere in the world, as good as you see in France, as good as you see anywhere. It’s a disgrace. Most of these people don’t even know what they’re taking down,” President Trump began.
EWTN host Raymond Arroyo asked President Trump what concrete measures the administration could take to defend American’s history from rioters and vandals.
“We’re going to do an executive order, and we’re going to make the cities guard their monuments. This is a disgrace,” President Trump answered.
The President did not lay out what specific steps his administration would take in the executive order to force mayors and governors to defend their monuments.
But it is clear that President Trump will take some form of action.
Presumptive Democrat Party nominee Joe Biden hid from any questions about tearing down statues.
Biden hasn’t held a press conference in over 80 days and his allies in the fake news media protect him from any questions that could cause him political problems.
Americans do not support roving mobs committing acts of domestic terrorism and vandalism by destroying government property.
But Biden is in a bind.
If he opposes the gangs tearing down statues Biden risks depressing the already record low levels of enthusiasm surrounding his campaign.
Should Biden try to sidestep criticizing the Black Lives Matter and other left-wing activists tearing down statues Biden admits to being a captive of the radical left.
Either way, Donald Trump’s executive order to protect historical monuments could finally force Joe Biden to take a stand on this issue.
Biden’s currently leading the President in the polls.
But the President creating a contrast between himself and Biden over the Democrats standing for rioting and vandalism could allow the President to reset the race.
