Donald Trump just made one historic announcement.
He’s running for President again.
And this time, Trump is determined to humiliate Joe Biden like never before.
After years of speculation and rumor, Donald Trump made it official when he formally announced on November 15th that he is running for President yet again.
This will mark the third campaign for Trump, who has been a fixture in American politics since he first rode down the escalator at Trump Tower in the summer of 2015.
And now, over 7 years later, Trump is attempting a political comeback for the ages.
Only once before in all of American history has someone managed to mount a political comeback like the kind Donald Trump is attempting, and it last occurred in the late 1800s under Grover Cleveland.
What’s more, no one since Richard Nixon has lost the presidency in a general election, only to return to the national stage and win the office in a later election.
But while it has been generations since someone has achieved what Trump is trying to pull off, the historical record is clear that it has happened before and can happen again.
Trump’s announcement doesn’t just carry historical importance however, it’s also massively important for Democrats, who know that Joe Biden is in the weakest spot he’s ever been in.
Biden doesn’t even have the support among his own party’s rank and file members, many of whom are disappointed with his record in office and his embarrassing record of gaffes.
And among the general public, Biden is one of the least popular political leaders in history.
He has very little support among regular Americans, and his own political standing is extremely vulnerable.
All of this suggests that Biden could be in a position to lose re-election in a landslide in 2024, especially if Trump emerges from the Republican nomination process stronger than ever.
But while Trump hasn’t yet clinched the nomination and likely will face stiff competition from other Republicans, it’s clear that whoever the party puts forward for the position in two years will likely start the campaign off as at least slight favorites to defeat Joe Biden.
And Biden knows this too, which is why he immediately started to attack Donald Trump on Twitter on the night of Trump’s announcement.
What’s more, the mainstream corporate media also knows this.
That’s why so few of them, aside from Fox and CNN, chose to air Trump’s announcement speech.
Many outlets know that the more publicity Trump gets, the less chances Joe Biden has to defeat him.
And so, outlet after outlet has committed itself to playing favorites in support of Joe Biden to try and downplay Trump’s announcement in the hope of burying the news.
But no matter how much the mainstream media ignores Trump’s historic presidential announcement, it won’t change the fact that he’s presently the favorite to win both the nomination in 2024 and the general election itself.
The only question now is whether or not Trump can secure a third nomination and a second presidential term.
