Donald Trump continues to re-emerge on the American political machine.
But Trump still has some old scores to settle.
And Donald Trump made a blockbuster prediction that left Democrats sweating bullets.
For two years Donald Trump and many of his supporters wondered why special counsel John Durham did not bring more criminal charges in his investigation into the origins of the Russian collusion hoax.
That began to change.
Durham indicted former Clinton campaign lawyer Michael Sussman on charges Sussman lied to the FBI in a 2016 meeting where Sussman peddled the falsehood that a server in Trump Tower communicated with the Kremlin-linked Alfa Bank.
Then Durham indicted researcher Igor Danchenkoon five counts of lying to the FBI about where Danchenko received the falsehoods about the Trump campaign and Russia that ended up in the Christopher Steele Russian collusion hoax dossier.
This indictment set off an earthquake in Washington because Danchenko was the primary subsource for the Steele dossier.
Danchenko’s source for his claims ended up being Bill and Hillary Clinton confidante Charles Dolan Jr.
The two indictments laid the groundwork for the broader case Durham appears to be making that the Steele dossier – and the Russian collusion narrative – was a figment of the Clinton campaign’s imagination and not the result of any legitimate basis in reality.
In an interview with Fox News Donald Trump celebrated Durham indicting Danchenko and Sussmann.
“It really has come out,” Trump exclaimed. “In all fairness, while it has taken a long time, hats off to John Durham.”
Trump explained the indictments were vindication for years of Trump saying his campaign never colluded with Russia and the whole story was a hoax invented by the Democrats.
“Hats off, because, it’s coming out, and it is coming out at a level — Durham has come out with things that are absolutely amazing,” Trump added. “We all sort of knew that happened, and now we have facts, and I think they’re only going to get deeper and deeper — and it all leads back to the Democrats, Hillary and the dirty lawyers.”
Trump also predicted that these indictments were the just the first steps in Durham building out a larger case with more indictments coming down the pike.
“What they did was so illegal, at a level that you’ve rarely seen before,” Trump continued. “Now, in all fairness, it looks to me like this is just the early building blocks.”
Trump also noted that his administration was able to achieve significant victories such as cutting taxes, confirming Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court, passing a renegotiated NAFTA deal through Congress among other achievements despite the Deep State trying to bog down and then end his presidency with an investigation based on a hoax.
“Those are big things that are happening, and what it really shows is what a hoax it was,” Trump concluded. “What happened here is incredible, going on for years, and we still did more than any administration, just about ever.”
