Dr. Fauci’s controversial time leading America’s coronavirus response just took a turn for the worse.
In recent weeks, Dr. Fauci has gone out of his way to contradict Donald Trump on reopening the economy.
And now Dr. Fauci went on CNN. What he said caused Donald Trump to hit the roof.
One way the fake news media sought to smear Donald Trump is falsely claiming the President is a snail oil salesman peddling junk science passed off as miracle cures for the coronavirus outbreak.
Fake news reporters seized on the President promoting hydroxychloroquine to claim Trump pushed “unproven” medical treatments which in reality only endangered the American people.
So-called “reporters” ignored studies from countries like Italy, France and China where doctors found hydroxychloroquine had some positive effects in treating coronavirus.
The outrage over the President trying to provide hope to the American people reached a fever pitch when Donald Trump announced that in conjunction with his physician the President was taking a two week cycle of hydroxychloroquine to prevent coronavirus infection.
Dr. Fauci waded into this debate during an interview on fake news CNN.
In the interview Fauci proved Donald Trump right when the President blasted Dr. Fauci for playing ‘all aides of the equation.’
First, Dr. Fauci claimed that “the scientific data is really quite evident now about the lack of efficacy for it and even the possibility that there could be — not could be, but the likelihood — that under certain circumstances, might be rare, but you would see it: adverse events.”
These comments came on the same day as the executive director of the pro-communist Chinese WHO’s emergencies program Mike Ryan also blasted hydroxychloroquine.
“There is no empirical evidence at this point that these drugs work in this case either for treatment or for prophylaxis,” Ryan stated. “We do not advise the use of hydroxychloroquine or chloroquine for the treatment of COVID-19 outside randomized control trials or under appropriate close clinical supervision subject to whatever national regulatory authorities have decided.”
But Dr. Fauci tried to cover all his bases by claiming that he would not ban hydroxychloroquine as a treatment for coronavirus.
This position made no sense.
Dr. Fauci claimed there was no evidence hydroxychloroquine worked as an effective treatment for coronavirus.
Fauci also claimed hydroxychloroquine could lead to death as a side effect in rare instances.
All drugs have side effects.
And if hydroxychloroquine did not effectively treat coronavirus and could even lead to death, why wouldn’t Dr. Fauci recommend banning hydroxychloroquine as a treatment for coronavius?
Dr. Fauci knows what he says on TV – especially fake news CNN – will be monitored by the media so they can play up a rivalry between the President and Fauci.
That’s why Fauci makes sure he feeds the fake news the red meat they need for their sound bites – hydroxychloroquine doesn’t work as a coronavirus treatment – while trying to make it seem like he’s on the President’s side by claiming he wouldn’t recommend banning hydroxychloroquine.
