Donald Trump is running out of patience with Dr. Fauci.
During the election Dr. Fauci schemed to undermine the President’s re-election campaign.
And now Dr. Fauci will be looking for a new job when Trump finds out what he just did.
Even though President Trump’s Operation: Warp Speed delivered a coronavirus vaccine ahead of schedule Dr. Fauci refuses to yield the power the coronavirus pandemic afforded him.
The drunk-with-power Dr. Fauci is now blaming Americans for his own failed strategy and demanding the country double down on Fauci’s campaign of fear and panic.
“We’re not done, we still need to implement public health measures in a very intense way,” Dr. Fauci told a think tank in the United Kingdom.
Dr. Fauci explained it wasn’t his foolish strategy of lockdowns and mask mandates that failed to contain the coronavirus pandemic – the American people were to blame because they assessed the low level of risk posed to most people by the coronavirus and chose to live their lives.
“We had too much individual approaches towards how we were going to handle the outbreak, so our baseline never came down to the low level where we wanted it to be,” Dr. Fauci said.
Dr. Fauci then demanded the American people submit to arbitrary and unscientific lockdown measures – such as the idea the coronavirus spreads after 10PM so therefore Americans must live under curfew – and do what the unelected health bureaucrats order.
“[E]ach of our countries have that independent spirit, where we don’t want to be told what to do,” Dr. Fauci continued, “Well, I understand that, but now is the time to do what you’re told.”
Instead of taking blame for doomsday prophecies about dead bodies piling up in the streets and hospitals being overrun that never came true and health experts encouraging large crowds to gather if they were protesting eroding the public’s trust in health experts Fauci blamed the American people for being conspiracy theorists.
“I think there has been an anti-authority component to this, we had ‘anti-vax’ people don’t like to be told to be vaccinated. Scientists are often perceived as authoritarian and sometimes in fact they’ve made that perception themselves by the way they act. I think we can improve on that,” Dr. Fauci added.
Dr. Fauci also falsely claimed he was not telling Americans to cancel their Thanksgiving plans as he told them to cancel their Thanksgiving plans.
“You may want to make a decision that you’re just going to forestall it,” Dr. Fauci continued. “Now every time I say that I’m the Grinch that stole Thanksgiving. I’m not saying that.”
Dr. Fauci tried to shift blame for his failed coronavirus strategy first to President Trump and now to the American people.
But the reality is the failure is Fauci’s and President Trump would be well justified in engineering his firing.
