Fox News Channel is at a crossroads.
The network moved left during the impeachment witch hunt with several on-air talents embracing the Democrats’ manufactured Ukraine scandal talking points.
And now Fox News may take one host off the air for a scandal that will have you seeing red.
The George Soros funded left-wing activist group Media Matters picked their latest target at Fox News to silence.
Media Matters has tried in the past to force Fox News to fire Sean Hannity and Tucker Carlson.
Now they are going after Mark Levin, the host of the Sunday night program “Life, Liberty and Levin.”
Media Matters seized upon Levin appearing at a campaign rally for Virginia State Senate candidate Geary Higgins before last Tuesday’s election.
Fox News has a corporate policy preventing on-air talent from appearing at political rallies and Media Matters is demanding Fox News sanction Levin.
Levin took this attempt to destroy his career head on.
Levin explained that a left-wing activist group was “very upset that I supported a local candidate for the state Senate in my own community as well as other local candidates. And you see, I violate the rules at Fox, they said. Let me explain something to them and the whole world: I didn’t violate any rules, number one. Number two is I will never be silenced, ever.”
The popular talk radio host also stated that no corporation was going to muzzle his right as an American to support candidates of his choosing.
“If I want to support a friend who’s running for the state Senate, well, dammit, I will do it. I should have done more for him. If I want to support my local sheriff then, dammit, I will do it, and nobody on this planet is going to stop me. No corporation, no left-wing group funded by billionaire, American-hating pukes. Nobody,” Levin declared.
In the past, Fox News has enforced its ban on talent appearing at campaign rallies.
Back in 2010, Fox News forced Sean Hannity to cancel a planned broadcast from a Tea Party rally in Cincinnati.
Last November, Fox News rebuked Hannity and Judge Jeanine Pirro for appearing on stage at a Trump campaign rally in Missouri after the President invited them to the podium to deliver brief remarks.
“Fox News does not condone any talent participating in campaign events,” a Fox News statement read. “We have an extraordinary team of journalists helming our coverage tonight, and we are extremely proud of their work. This was an unfortunate distraction and has been addressed.”
Levin is one of the most high-profile critics of the Democrats’ impeachment witch hunt in conservative media.
Media Matters clearly senses that Fox News is trying to adopt a posture on impeachment to please its critics in the liberal media.
So the left-wing activist group is mounting a campaign to pressure Fox News to suspend Levin just as the impeachment witch hunt moves into a dangerous new phase with the Democrats holding televised show trial hearings.
Conservative Revival will keep you up to date on any new developments in this ongoing story.
