George Soros spent the last two years trying to destroy Donald Trump.
Soros fought Trump on every front from Supreme Court nominations to immigration.
And now George Soros admitted one thing about Trump that caused all hell to break loose.
One of the core pillars of Donald Trump’s “Make America Great Again” agenda was confronting China over unfair trade deals.
Then-candidate Trump rallied Americans to his campaign by pointing out past American Presidents sold out American workers and industry to favor big corporations that shipped jobs to China.
President Trump followed up his tough talk on the campaign trail by slapping tariffs on $300 billion dollars worth of Chinese goods that enter America.
China responded with retaliatory tariffs on the $75 billion worth of American goods that they import.
President Trump turned to other tools in his toolkit to pressure China to the negotiating table.
The Trump administration declared the Chinese telecommunications company Huawei – which critics contend is an extension of Chinese intelligence and helps steal American technology and intellectual property – on the “entity list.”
This designated Huawei as a national security threat and bans American companies from doing business with Huawei.
Many in the Washington swamp and fake news media are trying to fool the American people into thinking the President is driving the country into a recession by fighting a needless trade war.
That is a lie.
And even George Soros took to the op-ed page of the Wall Street Journal to declare that Trump confronting China on trade was a legitimate accomplishment.
“The greatest—and perhaps only—foreign policy accomplishment of the Trump administration has been the development of a coherent and genuinely bipartisan policy toward Xi Jinping ’s China. The administration rightly declared Beijing a strategic rival and placed Huawei, China’s multinational telecommunications giant, on the Commerce Department’s so-called ‘entity list’ as a national-security threat. This prevents U.S. companies from doing business with Huawei,” Soros wrote.
Soros admitted that China is a legitimate national security threat to the United States because of their lust for global domination on the economic, military and technological playing fields.
“China is a dangerous rival in artificial intelligence and machine learning. But for now it still depends on about 30 U.S. companies to supply Huawei with the core components it needs to compete in the 5G market. As long as Huawei remains on the entity list, it will lack crucial technology and be seriously weakened,” Soros added.
Donald Trump won over working class voters in traditionally blue states like Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin in part based on his commitment to protect American jobs by confronting China on trade.
The President’s instincts have been to stand firm on renegotiating a real deal with China that corrects decades of feeble American trade negotiations that gave away the store to the Chinese.
Conservative Revival will keep you up to date on any new developments in Donald Trump’s trade negotiations with China.
