It had seemed unthinkable that Hillary Clinton would ever run again.
After all, Trump soundly defeated her and her party has virtually all but turned against her.
However, Hillary Clinton may have just dropped a major clue on whether she’ll run against Trump again.
Shortly after the Mueller report was released, Hillary penned an op-ed for the Washington Post relating to what the probe had found.
Although Mueller cleared Trump and his campaign of any collusion with Russia to steal the 2016 Presidential election, Hillary maintains otherwise.
“Our election was corrupted, our democracy assaulted, our sovereignty and security violated. This is the definitive conclusion of special counsel Robert S. Mueller III’s report. It documents a serious crime against the American people.”
Hillary is right—Mueller’s report does indicate corruption.
But that corruption was a function of Democrat interference.
We know Trump’s offices and phone lines were tapped. His campaign aides were spied on. We know for a fact that Hillary and Bill have close ties with Russian party officials, and that they have benefited financially from backroom deals with the same people whom she says conspired with Trump.
Hillary is simply upset that her meddling didn’t pan out as she expected.
“Obviously, this is personal for me, and some may say I’m not the right messenger. But my perspective is not just that of a former candidate and target of the Russian plot. I am also a former senator and secretary of state who served during much of Vladimir Putin’s ascent, sat across the table from him and knows firsthand that he seeks to weaken our country.”
The rest of the article is a message for the nation to use the Mueller report to serve as a rallying point for the Democrats to get back at Trump.
But many formative thinkers believe this is a signal that Hillary plans on running again.
Like it or not, she is still one of the most popular Democrats, especially among the elites.
While the general populace doesn’t like her that much, the entrenched Democrats would likely get behind her.
Many pundits believe Hillary is attempting to put herself back in the national conversation so when the slew of Democrat candidates begins to filter out, she can quickly insert herself into the race and make another run against Trump in 2020.
