Ilhan Omar’s snowballing number of controversies just reached a critical mass.
And it could finally be the straw that breaks the camel’s back.
That’s because Ilhan Omar crossed an unthinkable line with this support for Islamic terrorism.
Americans were shocked and horrified by the video of Hamas terrorists in Gaza firing 700 rockets into Israel.

Hamas claimed they murdered three Israelis and wounded dozens of others in this attack.
But Democrats in America did not share in expressions of sympathy for the innocent Israelis killed by Islamic terrorists.
In fact, Rashida Tlaib and Ilhan Omar declared their solidarity with the Palestinians.
Tlaib took issue with a New York Times headline that accurately reported that the violence had been instigated by Hamas terrorists.

Tlaib’s fellow socialist Ilhan Omar went even further.
Omar declared her support for the terrorists in Palestine.
Omar tweeted, “How many more protesters must be shot, rockets must be fired, and little kids must be killed until the endless cycle of violence ends? The status quo of occupation and humanitarian crisis in Gaza is unsustainable. Only real justice can bring about security and lasting peace.”
Anti-Semitism has defined Ilhan Omar’s career in politics.
Her first day in Congress was marked by a national uproar from an old tweet where she claimed Israel hypnotized the world into supporting their right to exist as a nation.
That was just the start.
Omar proceeded to claim that secret Jewish money bought off American politicians and that Jewish Americans hold dual loyalty to Israel.
This constant stream of bigoted remarks prompted some Democrats in Minnesota to whisper about fielding a primary challenger against Omar when she runs for re-election in 2020.
Some political observers wonder if these calls will only intensify because of this latest anti-Israel tweet by Omar.
Donald Trump is running for re-election in 2020 and he intends to elevate Omar as the face of the Democrat Party.
President Trump and his team believe that given a contrast between Trump’s “Make America Great Again” agenda and the extremism and bigotry promoted by Omar, voters will side with the President.
This forces Democrats to make a difficult choice.
Do they stick with Omar and risk losing the 2020 election, or cut her loose and risk the wrath of their base.
And Omar is not without her supporters.
She is very popular with the grassroots voters and donors which the left depends on to fund campaigns and win elections.
If the Democrat Party base thinks their leaders betrayed Omar, then they may not turn out in sufficient enough numbers for the Democrats to win in 2020.
